Mission:

  • The mission at hand is to find an established Service Outside Sales Representative with expertise in Secure Power to join the Services Business based in Lagos, Nigeria. This role offers the flexibility of working in a hybrid environment, including remote/home, office, customer sites, or travel.

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strategic business plan to maximize service opportunities.
  • Build strong customer relationships, advocating a holistic solutions approach to enhance safety, minimize risk, and optimize availability.
  • Execute agreed-upon customer account plans and engage in pre-sales activities and metrics.
  • Identify and cultivate new service and project opportunities to expand the existing pipeline.
  • Collaborate with other sales and key operational professionals to extend portfolio reach and returns.
  • Promote and integrate digitization across sites, customers, and growth prospects.

Qualifications:

  • The successful candidate should have a 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-10 years of technical sales experience.
  • Proven track record of winning high-value business through client-facing demand creation.
  • Knowledge of/exposure to Data Centers and/or UPS’s/Critical Cooling products.
  • Turnkey/Projects Sales Experience, preferably with Bid Management and Facilitation.
  • Recognized for curiosity, a passion for technology, and a consultative selling approach.

Mission:

  • Our mission is to find a talented Direct Sales Account Executive to join our Process Automation (PA) business unit in Lagos. In this role, you will be responsible for selling the complete Schneider Electric Process Automation portfolio (including DCS, Safety Systems, PLC, SCADA, Cyber Security) in Nigeria and West Africa across various sectors. You will build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, collaborate with different sales channels, and contribute to the growth of our business.

Your Role:

  1. Develop, maintain, and expand lasting professional customer relationships through regular visits and participation in customer events.
  2. Proactively pursue key positions to secure budgeted orders from customers.
  3. Negotiate pricing and conditions with customers.
  4. Stay up-to-date with market and product developments, understand customer structures and organizations, and identify and pursue opportunities.
  5. Analyze customer needs and independently or with the solutions/sales support team, create and present offers.
  6. Coordinate the preparation of quotes in collaboration with the proposal group.
  7. Coordinate technical support for customers.

Qualifications:

  • A relevant technical Master’s Degree (Electronics or Industrial Automation).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial automation, preferably in Oil & Gas and/or Power sectors.
  • Proven experience in selling technical solutions and concepts.
  • Blend of commercial insight, result-oriented attitude, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in oral and written English.
  • Valid driver’s license.
