- We are looking for a School Administrator to manage all administrative tasks in our school. As a School Administrator, you’ll need to wear many different hats; the planner, the problem-solver, the educator and the counselor being a few of them.
- You should have the skills to communicate with various people, handle budgets and logistics, and keep all educational programs running. If you’re up to the task, and you’re also committed to high-quality education, we’d like to meet you.
- This is a senior management position directly answerable to the Proprietress and school board.
Responsibilites
- Manage budgets, logistics and events or meetings
- Handle scheduling, record-keeping and reporting
- Ensure the school complies with relevant laws and regulations
- Develop and run educational programs
- Hire, train and advise staff
- Counsel students when needed
- Resolve conflicts and other issues
- Communicate with parents, regulatory bodies and the public
- Have a hand in the creation of the school curriculum
- Implement actions that improve the school and the quality of education (e.g. building renovations, new guidelines for students, new subjects)
- Help shape and uphold the vision of the school
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s in Education, Business Administration or other relevant fields are also welcome.
- Minimum of 10 years of work experience in Administration and Teaching
- Be between the ages of 40 – 55
- Attention to detail
- Problem-solving and dispute resolution skills
- A desire to work with children.
- Advanced Degree/ training/ or evidence of continuous improvement
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft word, excel, and PowerPoint
- Must be able to work well under pressure

- We are looking for an energetic Head of Primary, with a passion for developing children’s lives. In addition, this role needs to work collaboratively within the School Executive ( Director and Principal ) to support and assist with the daily management of the School.

- Be responsible for the day to day running of the Primary School as part of the wider School community.
- Conduct interviews with families wishing to enrol in the Primary School and submit recommendations to the Registrar.
- Collaborate with relevant staff to facilitate a smooth transition from Primary 6 6 to J.S.S 1 and the commencement of new students.
- Contribute to School publications including the MAG, the School Magazine and the school Newsletter.
- Come to school on the weekends when necessary.
- All other adhoc duties
Qualifications
- Degree in Education or related field, a Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
- Experience in Nursery & School Administration at least 5 years.
- Experience in Montessori Approach.
- Experience in School Administration/Management.
- Experience in modern way of teaching in the Nursery Schools.
- Knowledge of ICT is an added advantage.
