U-Connect Walk-In Interview Lagos 2026: Dates, Address, Documents and How to Get There

U-Connect Walk-In Interview Lagos 2026: Dates, Address, Documents and How to Get There. U-Connect Human Resources Limited is running a month-long U-Connect walk-in interview in Lagos from 1 September to 30 September 2026. The venue is their Lekki Phase 1 office at No. 5 Ogbunike Street. Hours are 9:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. Weekends are excluded. The flyer does not list one single vacancy. It says they have several open roles. That matches how U-Connect usually works: they recruit for client companies, mostly banks, contact centres, sales teams and outsourced operations. If you need a job in Lagos this month and you can reach Lekki on a weekday, this is one of the few walk-ins advertised through the end of September.

Quick facts

  • Dates: 1–30 September 2026 (weekdays only)
  • Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm daily
  • Venue: No. 5 Ogbunike Street, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos (U-Connect Ash Building)
  • What to bring: printed CV plus certificates and a valid ID
  • Dress: corporate / professional
  • Fee: none. Do not pay anyone to attend

What is U-Connect and who is hiring?

U-Connect Human Resources Limited is a Lagos HR consulting and outsourcing firm founded in 2004. Head office is in Lekki Peninsula. They handle talent search, personnel outsourcing, background checks, pre-assessment testing and HR advisory for client companies.

You are not walking into one bank’s HR desk. You are walking into an outsourcing firm that screens people for several clients. That is why the flyer says “several open roles” instead of one job title and one salary.

Recent public U-Connect walk-ins have covered contact centre agents, bank tellers, customer service / customer fulfilment officers and field or direct sales roles. Requirements change by client. Age caps of 26–28, 2:2 degree rules, and “OND/HND only, no B.Sc” rules have all appeared on past briefs. Ask at the desk which briefs are live the day you arrive.

U-Connect Walk-In Interview Lagos 2026: Dates, Address, Documents and How to Get There

5 Ogbunike Street, Lekki Phase 1

Ogbunike Street is a short residential street off Admiralty Way in Lekki Phase 1. Access Bank on Road 12 is the landmark most people use. U-Connect’s own directions from a recent LinkedIn walk-in post are the clearest public guide:

  1. Enter Lekki Phase 1 gate.
  2. Look for the white shuttle buses that load passengers along Admiralty Way.
  3. Tell the driver “Road 12 by Access Bank.”
  4. Alight at Road 12. Cross to the opposite side and enter the street.
  5. Take the first lane on your left. It is a short lane.
  6. At the end of that lane, turn right.
  7. You will see Anne Maria Hospital. U-Connect Ash Building is immediately after the hospital.

From the Mainland, leave early. A 9:00am start in Lekki Phase 1 is a 6:00–6:30am departure from many parts of Ikeja, Surulere or Ikorodu on a weekday.

Budget extra time at the Phase 1 gate. Security checks and shuttle queues add 15–25 minutes on busy mornings.

Roles U-Connect usually screens for (so you know what to expect)

The September 2026 flyer does not name the live vacancies. Do not assume every role below is open today. These are the briefs U-Connect has publicly advertised at this same Lekki office in recent cycles:

Contact centre / customer fulfilment

  • Inbound and outbound calls for a bank or service brand
  • Typical ask: clear spoken English, basic computer use, sometimes Hausa
  • Past public figures: starting pay around ₦101,000 with a rise after six months on one bank brief; other CFC briefs have listed about ₦138,000 net plus HMO, pension and 13th month
  • Age caps of 26–28 have appeared on several briefs

Bank teller and customer service officer

  • Branch-facing roles for banking clients
  • Usual ask: B.Sc or HND, age 27 and below on many briefs
  • One 2025 public post listed ₦250,000 plus HMO, pension, leave allowance and 13th month. Treat that as a past client package, not a promise for September 2026

Sales, marketers and direct sales agents

  • Field or branch-linked sales for banks, fibre broadband and other products
  • Pay is often a lower basic plus commission
  • Residence near the sales territory matters more than for office roles

If your CV is for accounting, software engineering or a senior specialist role, still go only if you can accept an operations or sales brief. This walk-in is built for volume hiring, not executive search.

Documents to take (more than “come with your CV”)

The flyer says bring your CV. Past U-Connect walk-ins at this office have asked for a fuller pack. Print everything. Do not rely on your phone.

  • Updated CV — 1 to 2 pages, 4–6 extra copies
  • Valid government ID — NIN slip, national ID, voter’s card, driver’s licence or international passport
  • Degree, HND, OND or NCE certificate, plus NYSC certificate or exemption letter if you have one
  • Statement of result if the original certificate is delayed
  • Birth certificate or age declaration (age caps are common)
  • Passport photographs
  • A simple file or folder so papers stay clean in the queue

If a role needs a 2:2 only, they will check the class of degree on the spot. If a role is “OND/HND only, no B.Sc,” a bachelor’s degree can get you turned away. Read the brief on the wall before you sit.

Dress code for this walk-in

The flyer is blunt: dress corporate and professional. U-Connect screens for banks and contact centres. Dress for a bank, not for a tech startup.

Men: navy, charcoal or black trousers, tucked-in shirt, belt, polished closed shoes. Add a jacket and tie if you have them. Skip sneakers, jeans and loud prints.

Women: tailored trousers or a knee-length skirt, blouse or shirt, closed shoes. A simple suit works. Keep makeup and jewellery quiet. Avoid very short hems and party fabrics.

Lekki offices run cold air-conditioning. Carry the jacket. Lagos humidity will still hit you on the walk from the gate, so pack a handkerchief and arrive early enough to cool down before you enter.

What the interview day actually looks like

  1. Security and reception. Give your name. Take a number if they issue one.
  2. Document check. They confirm ID, certificates and age against the live brief.
  3. Form or short screening sheet. Write neatly. The form is part of the test.
  4. Short oral screen. Expect “tell me about yourself,” why this role, and a check on your English.
  5. Possible computer or aptitude check for contact centre briefs.
  6. You leave. Shortlisted names get a call, SMS or email for the client stage.

A walk-in is not an offer. Many people attend. Few move to the client interview. Stay polite with the receptionist and the people in the queue. Those staff often decide who gets seen before 4:00pm.

Questions they ask on volume hiring days

  • Tell me about yourself (60–90 seconds, not your life story)
  • Why customer service / sales / banking?
  • Where do you live and how will you resume in VI, Lekki or the listed territory?
  • Are you open to shifts, including weekends, if the client runs a contact centre?
  • What is your current or last salary?
  • When can you start?

Answer in short sentences. Do not pad. If you do not live near the work location, say so. They will find out.

Salary ranges from recent U-Connect client briefs

The September 2026 flyer lists no salary. These figures are from public U-Connect posts in the last two years, so you can set a floor in your head. Confirm the live number at the desk.

Role type (past briefs)Publicly stated payCommon extras
Contact centre agent (bank client)₦101,000 start, ₦170,000 after 6 monthsShifts set by the bank
Customer fulfilment officerAbout ₦138,000 netHMO, pension, leave, 13th month
Teller / CSO (banking)Up to ₦250,000 on one 2025 briefHMO, pension, leave, 13th month
Marketer / field salesBasic around ₦90,000–₦95,000 plus commissionHMO, pension, 13th month on some briefs
Direct sales agentLower basic + variable / commissionTerritory-based; proximity required

Outsourced roles often pay less than a direct bank staff job with the same title. Ask whether you will be on U-Connect’s payroll or the client’s payroll, and whether HMO starts in month one or after probation.

Is the U-Connect walk-in interview legit?

U-Connect has operated from Lekki since the mid-2000s. They have a long public trail of walk-ins at 5 Ogbunike Street, a LinkedIn company page with tens of thousands of followers, and coverage of the founder in Nigerian business press. That is a real firm, not a WhatsApp-only “HR consultant.”

That does not mean every person who uses the U-Connect name is genuine. Nigeria has a long record of job-fee scams that copy real company names. In 2013, newspapers wrote about cash-for-jobs complaints that used this same Lekki address in the message. Treat the office as real and still run a fee check.

Walk away if anyone asks you to pay

  • No application fee
  • No “form fee,” “portal fee,” “medical fee” or “file activation”
  • No payment to a personal account to “hold your slot”
  • No request for ATM PIN, OTP or BVN “for payroll setup” before you have a signed offer

U-Connect’s own recent walk-in posts have said: this is a walk-in, no application fee, first come, first served. Hold them to that.

Call +234 913 545 0354 or email info@u-connect-ng.com only from the details on the flyer and their official pages. Do not use a number a stranger drops in a WhatsApp group. The public website has carried unrelated ads at times, so prefer the physical office and the phone number on the flyer over random web forms.

Who should attend — and who should skip this walk-in

Attend if you:

  • Can reach Lekki Phase 1 on a weekday between 9:00am and 4:00pm
  • Have a printed CV and at least one valid ID
  • Can work in customer service, contact centre, branch banking support or field sales
  • Meet common age and certificate filters (many briefs cap age at 26–28)
  • Can resume in Lagos, often on the Island

Skip or call first if you:

  • Need a fully remote role
  • Are above the usual age band and the live brief is strict
  • Only want a specialist or senior role this firm is not screening for today
  • Cannot produce any ID or any proof of schooling

How to prepare the night before

  • Print CVs and certificates. Check that your phone number on the CV still works.
  • Iron the outfit. Polish the shoes.
  • Load transport money. Have a backup route if the Phase 1 shuttle is slow.
  • Write a 60-second “tell me about yourself” and say it out loud twice.
  • Sleep. A 4:00am alarm beats a 9:40am arrival.

After the walk-in: what “we will get back to you” means

If they like you, the next step is usually a client interview, a voice test, or a computer-based test. Wait 3–10 working days before you follow up. Use the official number once. Repeated calls from the same candidate get ignored.

If you hear nothing, go again later in the month only if a new brief is on the door. Sitting in the same queue three times in one week with the same CV does not help.

Keep applying elsewhere the same week. One walk-in is not a job search.
