The University of Melbourne is calling on students from around the world to apply for the 2025 Human Rights Scholarship.
This Human Rights Scholarship is for students starting a Master’s or Doctorate degree. You must be doing research that focuses on Human Rights to qualify.
The University of Melbourne will choose students based on their grades, their interest in Human Rights, and their documents.
Requirements for University of Melbourne Human Rights Scholarship 2025
To apply for the University of Melbourne Human Rights Scholarship, you must:

Apply and meet the rules for starting a Master’s or Doctorate research degree in 2025.

Want to do research in the Human Rights field.

Not already have a similar or higher research degree.

Not have gotten a graduate research scholarship before.
Benefits of University of Melbourne Human Rights Scholarship

Living allowance of $43,500 each year for up to 2 years (for Master’s) or up to 3.5 years (for Doctoral). This allowance also includes some sick and family leave.

Full tuition fee offset for up to 2 years (for Master’s) or 4 years (for Doctoral).

Relocation grant of $2,000 if moving from another part of Australia, or $3,000 if moving from outside Australia.
