We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Audit Assistant 

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties/ Responsibilities/ Accountabilities

  • Assist the Internal Auditor in implementing the Annual Internal Audit Plan
  • Carry out full audit cycle of departments, units, subsidiaries etc
  • Regularly monitor the implementation of recommendations issued both in the context of Internal audit mission and external audit mission
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of the corporate risk register.
  • Visit all Company’s sites and subsidiaries to carry out routine inspection
  • Prepares and presents internal audit programmes to the Internal Auditor for review
  • Prepares and presents audit working papers to the Internal Auditor for review
  • Prepares and presents draft internal audit report to the Internal Auditor for review.
  • Carryout investigations as requested by management and the Internal Auditor
  • Perform any other mission as requested by management and the Internal Auditor

Requirements

  • Minimum of First Degree
  • Minimum of 3 Years in core Internal Audit function.
  • Minimum of ICAN or any other professional qualification e.g. CISA, CFE, ACCA
  • Thoroughness and accuracy in reviewing financial records, transactions, and internal controls to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Clear and concise communication, both written and verbal, to effectively convey audit findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles, auditing standards, and relevant industry regulations to conduct comprehensive internal audits.
  • Capacity to identify issues, propose effective solutions, and implement corrective measures to enhance internal controls and mitigate risks.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct in handling sensitive financial information
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and departments to gather information, share insights, and ensure a cohesive approach to internal auditing.
  • Efficient organization of tasks and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, ensuring timely completion of audit projects.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, internal processes, and systems to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.

Salary
N4,500,000 – N6,500,000 annually.

Job Title: Junior Buyer

Location: Nigeria

 Responsibilities

  • Assist in the Implementation of project procurement requirements/procedures/plans & schedule
  • Assist in Implementing project management procedures as regards, procurement, material inspection, handling, packing, transportation, material receipt, control and audit. subcontracts
  • Assist in registration and audit assessment of vendors & subcontractors
  • Review of commercial evaluation of bids, single source forms for completeness.
  • Raise purchase orders, letters of intent.
  • Keep records of items shipped, received, or transferred to another location
  • Review vendor commercial submission for compliance with the PR.
  • Assist in the evaluation of suppliers, participate in meeting with vendors, take part in the negotiation with suppliers, and manage supplier and vendor contract.
  • Develop ethical relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners to improve procurement activities.
  • Follow-up PR receipt to PO creation and award of same.
  • Maintains a Procurement and expediting tracking sheet
  • Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals.
  • Review vendor commercial bid to ensure reporting of any observed deviation.

Requirements

  • 1 – 3 years of experience.
  • Ability to work under pressure against tight deadlines, whilst maintaining a high standard of consistency, accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to manage interface both internally and externally with Clients, Consultants, Sub-contractors and Partners.
  • Reporting and Presentation Skills to professional Standard.
  • Sound working knowledge of the oil and gas down and upstream sector.
  • Good communication skills – Good ability to communicate across project teams to gain understanding of PR requirements.
  • Result-driven and focussed on delivery of quality deliverables on time and within budget.

  • Review, negotiate, and manage contracts with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage the commercial budget, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability.
  • Work with the finance team to monitor project financials, cash flow, and revenue forecasts.
  • Drive cost optimization and efficiency across all commercial operations.
  • Implement pricing strategies and cost-control measures to enhance margins.
  • Oversee the management of contracts, ensuring compliance with legal, financial, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assess and mitigate commercial risks related to contracts, projects, and financial commitments.
  • Develop strategies for claims management and dispute resolution.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize project delivery and profitability.
  • Lead and mentor the commercial team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Prepare regular financial and commercial reports for management.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Skills, Qualification and Experience

  • Minimum of a Master’s Degree.
  • Relevant professional qualification(s) and membership (CCCM, CPCM, FIDIC, RICS, PMP etc) is required.
  • Proven experience 18 years+ in a similar role within the engineering or construction industry with 8 years in a leadership or managerial position.
  • Proven track record in contract negotiation, business development, and financial oversight within a large-scaleorganisation.
  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts regulations, EPC contracts, and risk management strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and budget management.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Solid understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks related to contracts and commercial agreements.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office and relevant project management software.

Salary
N350,000 – N450,000 monthly.
