Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

• A maintenace Supervisor is a professional who is in charge of coordinating all the installation, maintenance, and repair work at buildings or large complexes.
• They manage teams made up of workers who execute tasks according to their project requirements.

Duties

• Maintenance supervisors directs and organize all activities around buildings systems, equipment operations, safe production standards, and day-to-day functioning of the machines or tools critical to organisations.
• His job typically includes planning and directing tasks for a particular shift as well as overseeing that work is completed in a timely and safe manner.
• Maintenance supervisor must ensure that all occupational safety and Health (OSHAD) and other pertinent agency rules or government regulations are met.
• He is typically part of middle management and work primarily with employees and technicians assigned to their shift.
• They must lead and motivate their team and delegate task.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facilties priodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
• Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work
• Recruit, supervise and train maintenance technicians
• Hire and supervise tradesmen during installations repairs or maintenance (electricians , plumbers etc)
• Inspect & maintain building systems (heating, ventilation etc.)
• Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure complieance
• Montor inventory of materials and equipment
• Participate in coordination of projects (eg. enovations)
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.

Job Title: Room Attendant

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Description

• Candidtate should preferrably be residing at Rumuola, Waterlines, Agip or mile 3 or GRA Phases I  &  II areas of Port Harcourt.
• A room attendant works as part of the housekeeping service team at a hotel. Their job duties involve cleaning and sanitizing rooms, hallways, stairways, and guest areas.  They clean furniture, wash windows, vacuum carpet, sanitize bathrooms, change bed linens, and replace towels.
• We are looking for a reliable and friendly room attendant to join our hospitality team in order to provide superb customer service to our guests.  Your duties will clude ensuring that assigned rooms are fully stocked, cleaned, and serviced to a high standard.  You should also be able to resolve guest complaints and queries promptly and in a polite manner.
• To be successful as a room attendant you must be honest, pleasant, and have detailed knowledge of, and comply with, all housekeeping policies, procedures and standards

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests and responding to queries.
• Changing bed linen and making beds
• Replacing used towels and other bathroom amenities, such as required
• Sweeping and mopping floors
• Vacuuming carpets
• Dusting and polishing furniture
• Emptying trash containers and ashtrays
• Restocking beverages and food items in the minibar
• Cleaning public areas, such as corridors
• Reporting any technical issues and maintenance needs
• Updating status of quest rooms on assignment sheet
• Returning and restocking cleaning car at shift end.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, preferred
• Previous guest service and/or housekeeping experience
• Experience using industrial cleaning equipment
• Flexible working hours
• Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards.

•  They are responsible for maintaining & cleanly facility by completing a variety of cleaning tasks.
