Majeurs Holdings Limited is a creative and luxury furniture manufacturing company founded in June 2011 with headquarters in the United Kingdom and a production factory in Lagos State, Nigeria. The company is the premier manufacturer of luxury furniture in West Africa. Majeurs Holdings Limited, the parent company, houses Majeurs Furniture, Majeurs Academy and Mande.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Facility Manager

Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe and secure working environment for occupants and staff.
  • Keep property-led operations running as smoothly as possible.
  • Ensure buildings operate within a set budget.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the organization’s building.
  • Ensure the company meets legal requirements and health and safety standards.
  • Operate across different department functions, working on both a strategic and operational level.
  • Oversee the maintenance, security, and overall operation of the building or facility.
  • Manage utilities to coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Ensuring the company facilities are in good condition for smooth operations in the office.
  • Perform little repairs such as sockets, extension, wiring, turning the generators on and off, keep record of fuel purchase and usage.
  • Ensuring all equipment, lights, fans and sockets are properly turned off across all departments at the close of business each.
  • Technical knowledge as a field is highly needed in technical services such as electrical systems, ventilation electrical systems and utility efficiency.
  • Air conditioning, and plumbing is an added advantage.
  • Running routine safety inspections, corresponding with contractors, planning maintenance work, maintaining records, and supervising facilities contract staff.

Qualifications

  • OND/HND in Electrical Engineering or Facility Management with electrical knowledge is preferred.
  • Electrical or Facility Management certification is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with electrical tools and wires.
  • Experience in little repairs e.g. disconnection of wires, fixing of sockets, fuse and general maintenance.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Quick to collaborate and coordinate with team members when necessary
  • Prior experience working with electrical / Maintenance company.
  • Strong Knowledge of safety procedure and electrical wiring is very paramount.
  • Minimum of 2-3yrs experience.

Salary
N80,000 monthly.

Job Title: Storekeeper (Male)

Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Records and information management of all equipment, tools, machines and materials
  • Quarterly store record presentation to the management
  • Report any requested tools or machines by staff without it being returned.
  • Proper record of requested store items and turn date and time.
  • Keep detailed records to track the movement of products, tools, machines, etc. that are in the store.
  • Ensure the reception, storage, dispatch and daily management of the stock of products marketed by the company.
  • Ensure the conformity of products received and delivered.
  • Ensure the management of inventories: control of the rotation of goods, verification of their availability, procurement from suppliers, tidying, cleaning, and store inventory.
  • Keep a record of store items, stock items and maintain an updated supply inventory database.
  • Replenish supply inventories following established guidelines.
  • Ability to perform various tasks to contribute to the organisation’s growth.

Qualifications

  • SSCE/NCE/OND in any field is required.
  • Familiarity with store management.
  • Must be smart and able to read and write.
  • Strong organizational skills and store management.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Quick to collaborate and coordinate with team members when necessary
  • Prior experience working with inventory and record-keeping companies.
  • Strong Knowledge of store-keeping procedures.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience.
  • Gender: Male.
  • Age range 35yrs – 50yrs (Elderly person).
  • Proximity to Surulere is important.

Salary
N50,000 – N70,000 monthly.

Job Title: Operations & Procurement Assistant

Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics and transport operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety and security regulations and policies.
  • Manage relationship with contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, suppliers to ensure standard service delivery.
  • Keep all record of purchase documents and receipts.
  • Negotiating contracts, creation of SLA and contract document is compulsory.
  • Supply chain managementexpeience is very important.

  • Formulate strategic and operational objectives
  • Ensure smooth operations process with the operations lead.
  • Ensure safe and efficient operations. Serve as a company representative on regulatory issues.
  • Enhance the operational procedure, systems, and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes, enhanced management reporting, and look for opportunities to expand systems.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Ensures proper operations and project planning, assigning, and directing work; authoring and discussing with employees’ performance appraisals; addressing employee performance and corrective action plans; employee motivation and rewards.
  • Organising the budget of the company in collaboration with the director.

Requirements and Skills

  • Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Experience budgeting and forecasting
  • Familiarity with business and financial principles
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Degree in Business, Operations Management or a related field

Job Summary

  • We are hiring an Account Officer with excellent accounting skills and a great work ethic to manage request and ensuring accuracy.
  • Maintaining financial records.
  • Handling accounts payable and receivable.
  • Checking invoices.
  • Resolving accounts to the general ledger.
