1). Hatchery Manager

About the Role

 

This position involves the efficient management of a fully automated Petersime Hatchery with a capacity of 1.5 million D.O.C per week, overseeing daily operations.

Responsibilities

 

  • Monitor and accurately record the temperature and humidity in the cold room and egg sorting room.
  • Ensure proper egg placement on trolleys and into setters, maintaining a setting eggs trolley report for each setting day.
  • Maintain the sanitation of both the internal and external environments of the setter room by cleaning and disinfecting daily.
  • Maintain standard setter room parameters, including temperature and humidity, ensuring the Air Handling Unit and oxygen inlet function properly.
  • Ensure hatchers and their baskets are dry before candling on each candling day and maintain the targeted temperature and humidity conditions before and after candling.
  • Keep the candling room clean, dry, and disinfected before starting the candling process.
  • Ensure hatcher machines are clean and dry before fumigation, and recheck inside the machines before fumigation.
  • Arrange and ensure the proper functioning and lighting of the candling box before and during the candling process.
  • Verify the number of chicks in each box to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure proper vaccination of D.O.C and accurately record vaccinated chicks.
  • Stack chicks properly after vaccination and maintain the chick holding room temperature (26-28°C).
  • Monitor fertility records, hatching reports, weekly fertility/hatchability reports, carton reports, ledger updates, DOC reports, and farm reports.
  • Conduct routine checks of staff and hatchery assistants.

Job Description

The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring consistent production quality by adhering to GMP, validating processes, providing documentation, and managing staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all testing procedures comply with SOPs and international standards.
  • Deliver timely and accurate results to the Production team.
  • Ensure all test results are reliable and repeatable.
  • Develop internal standards for raw materials, in-process, and finished goods.
  • Oversee raw material and finished goods clearance.
  • Prepare and maintain all reports (Daily MIS, Monthly MIS, CoA, etc.).
  • Maintain and update all documentation and records in a timely manner.
  • Keep records and perform timely instrument calibration.

  • Possess sound knowledge of testing all products related to paddy and rice.
  • Address market complaints at any location and time as per QA/QC requirements and prepare CAPA.
