Job Title: Quality Control Manager (Automobile)

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

The Quality Control Manager will supervise production staff in the automobile factory and oversee all processes in the manufacturing of all armoured vehicles and OEMs to ensure they meet quality and efficiency standards.
He will also work with clients to ensure the final products meet their needs and requirements.
The Quality Control Manager will ensure the auto manufacturing production lines run smoothly and generate a consistently suitable output of products that meet quality and efficiency standards.
The quality control manager understands the customer’s needs and requirements and coordinates employee efforts and communications between management and the production teams.

Job Description

Gaining an understanding of the client’s needs and requirements and communicating them and the quality standards to the production teams.
Devising ways to improve the manufacturing process to ensure higher-quality vehicles.
Devising, improving, and reviewing new specifications and procedures for products or processes, and training staff to use them.
Setting the requirements for raw materials from suppliers and monitoring their compliance.
Supervising inspectors, technicians, and other staff members and providing guidance.
Ensuring legal obligations are followed and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and with health and safety guidelines.
Overseeing product development procedures to identify any deviations from quality standards.
Inspecting the final output, comparing it to the requirements, and approving or rejecting the final products.
Keeping accurate documentation and performing statistical analysis.
Gaining feedback from the clients, attending meetings, submitting reports, and assisting external auditors and inspectors.
Any other function as may be assigned by the Head of Operations and/or GMD

Requirements
Qualification / Experience:

Minimum of Bachelor Degree Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
Relevant Quality Control/Assurance Professional Certifications is an added advantage
A thorough understanding and experience in automobiles and production
Minimum of five (5) years’ cognate experience in Quality Assurance in an auto manufacturing organization.
In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards.
Proven ability to drive change and engage others.
A keen eye for detail.
Sound communication skill.

Preparing work schedules
Problem Solving/Analysis
Strategic thinking and strong execution skills.

Non-Technical:

Salary
N400,000 – N500,000 monthly.

Job Title: Internal Audit Manager

Location: Nigeria

Key Responsibilities

Obtain, analyse and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc
Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process
Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement
Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
Maintain open communication with management and audit committee
Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum
Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions
Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards
Collate, check and analyze spread sheet data
Examine company accounts and financial control systems
Gauge levels of financial risk within organisations
Check that financial reports and records are accurate and reliable
Ensure that assets are safeguarded
Identify if and where processes are not working as they should and advise on changes to be made
Prepare reports, commentaries and financial statements
Ensure procedures, policies, legislation and regulations are correctly followed and complied with
Any other function as may be assigned by the Head, Audit.

Minimum Educational / Professional Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or any Social Sciences.
Possession of professional qualification or equivalent will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 5 years relevant post-graduation experience.

Salary
N400,000 – N500,000 monthly.

Job Description

The Research and Development Manager performs research and development duties for the company.
He will oversee research activities; and develop knowledge-based products for the company.
They use research theories, principles and models to perform a variety of experiments and activities.
He/she will also develop research programs incorporating current developments to improve existing products and study the potential of new products.

Job Responsibilities

Meeting with business management, marketing, and the R&D team to discuss product ideas.
Building the project plan (scope, timeline, budget) with the cross-functional team members, getting review + approval from the stakeholders before starting significant investments
Monitoring the execution (achievements/investments, actual versus forecast), giving support to the project team, removing impediments, revising the plan based on updated/new inputs and communicating to Stakeholders
Conducting market research and evaluating similar products and their functions.
Facilitating project team collaboration and communication, within the project and towards external stakeholders
Collaborating with the engineering and marketing department on product feasibility.
Redesigning existing products to enhance functionality or reduce costs.
Creating design projects and specification sheets.
Presenting product designs to management and stakeholders.
Overseeing the engineering of product prototypes.
Testing prototype products for functionality, ease-of-use, and longevity.
Resolving product issues.
Overseeing the production process.

Qualifications

First Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering or any relevant field.
A Master’s degree will be an added advantage
Certifications with relevant Engineering body is a must
Minimum of 8 years postgraduate cognate experience, 4 years out of which must be in a managerial position.
Demonstrate technical design skills to create functional and attractive products that are cost-effective and user-friendly.
Previous experience in the Automobile, aerospace and other defence sector is desirable.

Job Title: Personal Assistant to the Head of Operations (Male)

Job Description

The role holder will perform personalized administrative duties for senior management. Responsible for scheduling meetings, taking notes, and handling correspondence on behalf of the Head, Operations.
The Job holder will be required to effectively organize the daily itinerary and activities of the HOO to ensure smooth work flow.
Age: 25-35 with experience as a P. A

Responsibilities

Maintain and coordinate the HOO’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and related arrangements
Typing, formatting, and editing reports, documents, and presentations.
Forwards information by receiving and distributing communications; collecting and mailing correspondence;
Maintains office schedule by picking-up and delivering items
Serve as a liaison between the HOO, managers, and other members of staff
Answer and respond to phone calls; communicate messages and information to the HOO
Keep the HOO informed of time-sensitive and priority issues, ensuring appropriate follow-up.
Support the HOO’s efficiency and effectiveness in all aspects of his daily work routine
Carry out any other responsibilities as assigned by the HOO

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Business Admin, Secretariat Studies, Economics or any related course, 1 year maximum post NYSC experience as a Personal Assistant, Office Assistant, Secretary, Receptionist or similar role. An NYSC member may be considered.
