We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time
Report to: Finance Director

Key Elements of the Role

  • Identify and develop best-in-class suppliers.
  • Coordinate with project team & suppliers to shorten ordering and supply lead-times to meet project delivery timelines.
  • Closely monitor the fluctuations in international market and propose the strategy for procurement to HOD for efficient decision making
  • Drive Productivity within the team & manage Inflation.
  • Preparing proposals, requesting quotes & negotiating purchase terms and conditions.
  • Preparing and issuing purchase orders and agreements.
  • Monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues and concerns.
  • Drive cost savings by lowering the total cost of acquisition through effective negotiations, value analysis and process improvements
  • Establish and maintain good supplier and internal customer relationships that foster an environment of collaboration and trust
  • Plan, track and manage orders to meet delivery requirements.
  • Preparation of comparison table, evaluation against their proposal and negotiation with vendor for timely delivery with required level of quality of material meeting the expectations / Technical Specifications
  • Coordinate the new vendor registration and supervise the application to finance department for
  • Work with team members to ensure compliance to the SOP on Purchase Documentation and ensure to file the documents for Audit compliance.
  • New supplier development for alternate materials / current supplies locally.
  • Supervise the submission of documents to finance department for payment like, indent, PO and work completion certificate etc.
  • Provide management reports and key performance data and monitor cost savings
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and select and develop new suppliers
  • Negotiate and manage contract terms with suppliers to ensure value for money, quality standards and delivery terms with technical and operational input from stakeholders and colleagues
  • Work with suppliers and have a process in place to measure effective performance, quality and compliance. Measure against KPI criteria if these exist
  • Ensure professional and consistent supplier management is applied across the supply base in line with the purchasing policy

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Suppy Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years proven work experience in the Procurement role
  • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate and manage key stakeholders and suppliers
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities
  • Results orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
  • Commercially and financially aware with experience of managing budgets
  • Contract management and supplier experience
  • Good time management skills.
  • Be a good team player
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office packages

  • Technology savvy to conduct sales meetings & discussions so as to present the available products
  • Understand client needs & propose apt solutions based on right Technology
  • Performs sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts in consultation with Supervisor.
  • Reviews progress of sales roles throughout the company.
  • Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company’s products.
  • Provides monthly/quarterly results assessments of sales staff’s productivity.
  • Formulates all sales policies, practices and procedures.
  • Collaborates with Supervisor to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines.
  • Interprets short- and long-term effects on sales strategies in operating profit.
  • Participate in sales promotion and trade show expenses. 

Job Requirements

  • Configure and align RF equipment to meet specified technical requirements.

  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on RF equipment as per instructions.

Requirements

  • The Field Engineer will be responsible for conducting technical RF site surveys, installing and configuring RF equipment, and ensuring the seamless integration and operation of RF systems.
  • The ideal candidate will have 2 – 3 years of relevant experience, adhere to strict safety protocols, and work closely with other teams to maintain and troubleshoot RF infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Visit project sites and conduct technical RF site surveys.
  • Submit detailed survey reports, including height, coordinates, mast/tower details, photos, and material requirements.
  • Analyze existing RF infrastructure and propose link plans.
  • Prepare and submit RF link reports based on project requirements.
  • Prepare bills of material and plans for the deployment of RF equipment.
  • Configure and install RF equipment on towers.
  • Install pole mounts, radio antennas, access points, and CPEs on towers.
  • Configure routers, switches, and access points.
  • Conduct radio link tests, internet speed tests, and integrate internet links.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot radio link issues in the field.
  • Perform regular maintenance to prevent system failures.
  • Work closely with other teams, such as network engineers, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain documentation of RF systems, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Ensure RF systems comply with relevant industry regulations.
  • Lay network cables from tower tops to server rooms.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working at heights.
  • Use safety equipment and follow industry-standard safety practices.
  • Ensure that installations meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in shift working, be a team player, and self-motivated.

Qualifications

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 – 3 years of experience in RF site surveys, installation, and maintenance.
