Job Title: Technical Product Manager – Super App Platform

Location: Nigeria (Remote)
Job type: Full-time

About the role

  • We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to work closely with Yassir’s Product and Technical teams. This role will focus on gathering and implementing key enablers essential for the success of our Super App platform.

Main scope involves:

  • Identifying and gathering key enablers from all stakeholders for the Super App  Products and services (e.g., authentication service, analytical tools integration, deep links).
  • Supporting and working with various teams across Yassir that relies on one of the many Super App domains such as authentication or deep/dynamic links..
  • Contributing to the development, improvement and testing of any of our Super App.
  • Platforms such as our centralized authentication platform or deep/dynamic link platforms.
  • This role is crucial in ensuring that our Super App Platforms are scalable, secure, compliant and that all integrations are streamlined to support the expansion of our services.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Yassir’s product, engineering, and data teams to identify and implement key enablers.
  • Effectively manage stakeholder relationships, especially in a remote work environment, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives.
  • Continuously define product requirements for new features and ensure full alignment with stakeholders.
  • Oversee day-to-day routines, including agile ceremonies, backlog management, and project management.
  • Improvement, conduct product discovery, research,  exploration of new ideas, identifying and reducing technical debt.

What we’re looking for

  • A minimum of 3 years as a Product Manager in a scale-up environment.
  • A strong technical background (e.g., a degree in Computer Science).Proficient in Data Modelling, writing SQL and Data Analysis
  • A good understanding of APIs and the tools used to test them eg Postman
  • Proficient in understanding API documentation
  • A good understanding of modeling techniques such as UML or BPM
  • Proven experience working in companies with large tech teams.
  • Someone who can make things happen, takes accountability and is great to work with in a fast paced environment
  • Bonus: Previous experience in a technical role.

  • Nice to have technical skills (Strongly advised): Containers (Docker, Kubernetes), Caching (Redis), Scaling, Web load balancing
  • Experience in a rapidly growing company in the mobility, on-demand, or fintech space is a plus.

  • Expertise in SQL and experience working with large-scale data sets on cloud platforms such as GCP Big Query and DBT.
  • Troubleshoot data issues and conduct root cause analysis when reporting data is in question.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Proactively identify and contribute with team development initiatives, and supporting junior members

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A minimum experience of 5 years in analytics as a Data Modeler, Data Analyst or similar role in Finance domain
  • Language: English – Fluent), French – Good to have)
  • Required Technical Skills:
  • Advance SQL knowledge Looker Studio
  • Data Modelling
  • Big Query
  • Statistical knowledge
  • NoSQL – Preferably MongoDB – DBT or similar tools
  • Good to have:
