Job Responsibilities
- Approve all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests
- Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting a visual and measurement test, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
- Maintain safe work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
- Approve in-process production by confirming required specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating the required adjustments to the production supervisor
- Return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-work
- Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs
- Accomplish organization mission by completing related results as needed
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, HND, Master’s Degree, NCE, OND qualification.
- 2+ years in a leadership or managerial position
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Office
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain and teach methodologies.

- Working with the Head of Procurement to prepare plans for the purchase of raw & packaging materials, equipment, services, and supplies.

- Provide the key local interface between the supplier and internal customers to facilitate the resolution of supplier non-conformance and manage supplier escalation/ re-scheduling. In conjunction with Procurement manager develop and execute procurement strategies.
- Developing/ agreeing with internal customer. Service level Agreements. Risk Management programme and appropriate supply measurement tools to assist in driving continuous improvement.
Requirements
- University Degree in any Commercial based-discipline.
- Relevant 3+ years of post qualification — including some quality procurement—functional experience within a forward thinking, fast-paced and value —adding blue —chip FMCG environment.
