Job Title: Electrician – Golden Penny Foods Honeywell Flour Mills

Location: Nigeria

Purpose

  • To Carry out electrical maintenance activities in the plant with a view to keeping the plant running at optimum capacity.

The Job

  • Repair any fault or damage components of the machines such as production, packaging, warehouse, raw material silo, Boiler, WTP.
  • Carry out all kinds of maintenance strictly with the use of checklist/Machine drawing.
  • Monitor logbook to check job repairs done as well as pending jobs, to follow up and ensure prompt resolution.
  • Carry out any job allocated to ensure quick response to maintenance request from user department.
  • Carryout Why-Why analysis on repeated problems and troubleshoot problems to aid effective maintenance.
  • Prepare report on work done for reference purpose, fill all the job order correctly, and return them to SAM.

Qualifications

  •  5 O’ level Credits including English & Mathematics in not more than two sittings/Technical certifications.

Experience:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role.

The Person Must Have:

  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Have strong knowledge of electrical systems and industrial machinery.
  • Have ability to read and interpret machine drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Have excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for identifying and resolving faults.

Job Title: Assistant Accountant

Purpose

  • To support the finance function by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with accounting processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

The Job

  • Manage daily financial transactions, including recording, posting, and reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts; verify journal entries, and review accruals and prepayments for completeness.
  • Prepare and post necessary adjusting entries, including provisions, depreciation, and intercompany transactions.

Experience:

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance-related roles.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; experience with data analysis tools and Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be an added advantage.

The Person Must Have: ​

  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles, general ledger management, and double-entry bookkeeping.
  • Ability to record, post, and reconcile daily financial transactions with high accuracy.
  • Working knowledge of month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals, prepayments, and depreciation.
  • Ability to prepare and review journal entries and supporting schedules.
  • Familiarity with accounting software/ERP systems (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar.

  • Have strong understanding of internal control frameworks (ICOFR), enterprise risk management, and operational compliance principles.
  • Have proven ability to provide enterprise-wide leadership for control and compliance across multiple Business Units.

Purpose ​

  • To assist in managing and coordinating structured systems for the implementation of ISO 45001 practices for the safety, health, and environment of employees and the factory.

The Job

  • Assist the Safety Manager in hazard analysis and coordinate accident and incident investigations to develop corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.

  • Reviews equipment performance records, labour and material usage, logbooks etc for optimization.
  • Set standard for spare parts, determine relevant stock levels and organize for their replenishment through overseas and local orders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
  • Membership with NSE/COREN

Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in power generation plants, with significant hands-on experience on Wartsila engines and associated auxiliaries.

The Person Must Have:

  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Wartsila engines and associated electrical and mechanical auxiliaries.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance practices applicable to gas and diesel power generation plants.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programmes to improve plant availability and equipment reliability.
