Job Title: Mechanical Engineer – Rotating – Office Design
Location: Akwa Ibom
Key Responsibilities
- Review and prepare datasheets, GA drawings, and vendor documents for rotary equipment.
- Technical evaluation of pumps, compressors, blowers, agitators, and vacuum systems.
- Ensure proper material selection for chlorine, caustic, brine, and hydrogen services.
- Supervise installation, alignment, grouting, and commissioning activities.
- Review vibration analysis, performance curves, and test certificates.
- Participate in FAT and witness shop testing.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend reliability improvements.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for failures and repeated breakdowns.
- Coordinate with Process, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards for hydrogen and chlorine handling areas.
- Review spares philosophy and preventive maintenance plans.
- Support shutdown planning and plant start-up activities.
Requirements
Qualification:
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory).
Experience:
- 8–10 years of experience in Chemical / Petrochemical / Refinery plant
- 3–5 years hands-on experience in rotary equipment handling
- Experience in commissioning and shutdown maintenance preferred
- EPC project exposure is an added advantage
- Experience in fabrication, erection, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment.
Functional Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Centrifugal & Reciprocating Pumps
- Experience in Chlorine Compressors and Hydrogen Compressors
- Knowledge of Vacuum pumps and brine circulation systems
- Understanding of Mechanical seals (single, double, dry gas seals)
- Familiarity with API 610, API 617, API 618 standards
- Experience in vibration analysis and condition monitoring
- Knowledge of corrosion-resistant materials (Monel, Hastelloy, Titanium, FRP lined pumps)
- Understanding of hazardous area equipment requirements
- Experience in predictive and preventive maintenance systems
- Ability to interpret performance curves and troubleshoot cavitation issues
- Proficiency in vibration analysis software (for rotary).Behavioural Skills:

- Should have proven knowledge of corrosion and material compatibility.
- Should have proven ability in troubleshooting record in rotary equipment failures.
- Should possess required experience and knowledge in plant commissioning and performance testing.

Job Title: Electrical Technician

About the Role
- We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Electrical Technician to join our Engineering / Maintenance team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain and troubleshoot motors, generators, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, control panels, and distribution boards.
- Install, wire, terminate, and test electrical equipment and components.
- Conduct routine inspections and electrical testing to identify potential equipment failures.
- Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical and control-system faults and escalate complex issues when required.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, inspections and repairs.
- Support planned shutdowns, equipment overhauls and other maintenance activities.
- Work closely with Engineers, Operations, Instrumentation and other technical teams to resolve equipment issues.
- Ensure all electrical work is carried out in accordance with approved procedures, safety requirements and applicable standards.
- Apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and other electrical isolation procedures before commencing work.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce recurring electrical failures.
Requirements
- OND or HND in Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance, industrial operations, manufacturing, utilities or a similar environment.
- Hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial electrical equipment.
- Good knowledge of motors, MCCs, switchgear, VFDs, transformers, and electrical distribution systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Experience using electrical testing and measurement instruments.
- Good understanding of electrical safety, isolation, and LOTO procedures.
- Basic knowledge of PLCs and industrial control systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond to equipment breakdowns.
- Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.

Job Title: Electrical Draftsman
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Description
- The Electrical Draftsman is responsible for preparing, modifying, and maintaining accurate electrical drawings and technical documentation in accordance with engineering specifications, project requirements, and applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings, layouts, schematics, and diagramsusing AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
- Develop electrical drawings for power distribution, lighting, control systems, cable routing, and equipment installations.
- Convert engineering concepts, sketches, and specifications into detailed technical drawings.
- Prepare and update single-line diagrams (SLDs), wiring diagrams, panel layouts, cable schedules, and electrical layouts.
- Review drawings to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project specifications.
- Make revisions to drawings based on instructions and changes from Electrical Engineers and project teams.
- Maintain proper drawing numbering, revision control, and document management.
- Coordinate electrical drawings with civil, mechanical, structural, instrumentation, and other engineering disciplines.
- Identify potential clashes or inconsistencies between electrical systems and other project components.
- Assist Engineers with preparation of Bill of Materials (BOMs), cable schedules, equipment layouts, and other technical documentation.
- Ensure all drawings are prepared according to approved company and project standards.
- Support site teams by providing updated drawings and resolving drawing-related queries.
- Maintain an organized database of drawings, revisions, and technical documentation.
- Participate in design reviews and incorporate approved changes into drawings.
- Ensure confidentiality and proper control of engineering documents.
Qualifications
- OND / HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Electrical Technology, Drafting, or a related discipline.
- Professional training or certification in AutoCAD or electrical draftingis an advantage.
Experience:
- 5–10years’ experience in electrical drafting/design.
- Experience in an engineering, construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, power, or industrial environment is preferred.
- Practical experience preparing electrical drawings using AutoCAD is required.
- Experience working with engineering teams and interpreting electrical engineering specifications is an advantage.
