Job Title: Field Operator II

Location: Nigeria

Job Description

  • Operate equipment and wells by applying operating and safety procedures and guidelines to meet daily operational plan, reduce equipment failure and efficient resources administration

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Responsible to implement on daily work objectives, housekeeping, safety, health, environmental and security
  • Active participation on daily toolbox meetings and regular, reported safety meetings
  • Identify and implement corrective and optimization actions by the continuous surveillance of wells and equipment to ensure reliable, efficient and safe operational conditions
  • Function as Equipment Care Technician, and routinely use Maintenance skills in performing simple maintenance activities
  • Report when the alarm, emergency or emergency shutdown system is out of service
  • Provide detailed, clear and accurate information when changing shift, to guarantee that unit conditions are updated and ensure operations continuity
  • Coordinate, control and monitor maintenance jobs according with the corrective, predictive and preventive planning
  • Report continuously in the log book all relevant operational events and abnormal situations or deviation occurred in the work area, equipment or personnel
  • Take samples of products for laboratory analysis and execute field laboratory tests
  • Active participation on emergency response activities
  • Report incidents internally and escalate awareness as per the Incident Reporting Guidelines
  • Ensure that Operations Shift Supervisor is informed and consulted about operations activities
  • Ensure good communication across the work team so that issues / actions can be adequately addressed
  • Provide the basic facts concerning well producing problems, current production rates, and current condition of the well
  • Ensure that the well problem diagnostics are thorough and complete before requesting Well Work intervention operations
  • Ensure that the wellhead and well surface equipment are maintained and are in good working order prior to Wellwork operations taking over responsibility for the well for intervention operations
  • Provide assistance and support to the ongoing Wellwork operations as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Completed Secondary Education and worked previously as a Field Technician.
  • Strong communications (oral & written)
  • High standard of Safety, Health, Environment aptitude and cultivates the same in others.
  • Strong knowledge of pipeline operations
  • Strong knowledge of safety and operations management tools and processes
  • Broad knowledge of Emergency Preparedness Procedures

Job Title: Drilling / Well Intervention Subsea Advisor III

Location: Nigeria

Main Functions

  • Comment and provide advice on discipline engineering work performed both internally and by Contractors and sub-contractors to ensure that work is being executed in accordance with Company specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitates effective execution of discipline engineering and design routines that align with the team’s goals, objectives, and procedures.
  • Assures accurate and timely communication among the team and other company functions on discipline engineering activities, progress, and issues.
  • In addition to technical ability, they should demonstrate sound communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Company representative for interfacing with subsea tree, hangers, and wellhead interfacing and subsea pressure control equipment (e.g., subsea BOPs, SSTT, CWOR, LWI) for subsea drilling, completion, and/or well interventions during planning and execution phases.
  • Lead in coordinating surface integrity tests (SITs), witnessing any recertification, factory acceptance and extended factory acceptance testing (FAT / EFAT).
  • Coordinating subsea equipment & ROV aspects of drilling, completions, and/or well intervention risk assessments
  • Prepare brownfield survey and subsea equipment (e.g., trees, hangers, wellheads, subsea BOPs, SSTT / landing strings, CWOR, LWI) deployment and retrieval procedures, ROV tooling and related procedures.
  • Monitor subsea equipment service provider, ROV service provider, provide project management support and troubleshooting of subsea pressure control equipment issues

Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a closely related position
  • Extensive knowledge of In-depth understanding of subsea completion, workover and light well intervention units (e.g. semi submersibles, jack ups and multipurpose vessels)
  • Develops / manages project interfaces (e.g. subsea simultaneous drilling and production procedures, interfaces with other subsea systems)
  • Keeps abreast of subsea completions and workover techniques and technology progress within EM and industry, applies emerging technology and practices where appropriate and can use Tech Set applications effectively
  • Experienced in the areas of subsea system hydraulic modeling, well surveillance, well testing operations, multiphase metering, subsea production / artificial lift optimization (e.g. subsea booster pumps, gas lift and riser lift) and flow assurance
  • Very strong demonstrated organizational and technical judgment skills
  • Demonstrated teamwork and communication skills
  • Demonstrated skills to positively influence drilling workforce – employees and contractors
  • Exceptional skills in MS Office suite of software programs; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical/business communications
  • Ability to work and communicate in international locales and with diverse cultures
  • Relevant industry experience (offshore / onshore drilling activities, for example).
  • Maintains a high degree of ethical conduct.
  • Ability to work in harsh environments (examples include temperature and / or humidity extremes, remote locations with limited amenities) with changing priorities.
  • Willingness to travel / live away from home for extended time periods.

  • The Systems Completion Engineer / Specialist is accountable for the engineering activity covering planning, program generation and execution of completion operations within the wells team. Owns the Systems Completion Process.

  • Collaborates with Operations/EPC Contractor to ensure a safe and effective execution of Systems Completion activities and to ensure all Systems Completion contract requirements are met
  • Manages Systems Completion interfaces between PMT and EPC Contractor to facilitate successful commissioning and hand-over
  • Provides assistance to EPC Contractor for utilization of a computerized Completion Management System for tracking, certification and quality purposes
  • Applies Systems Completion lessons learned from previous projects
  • Collaborates with and supports the start-up team to achieve a successful turnover, start-up and acceptance by Operations
  • Assist PMT in meeting Clients expectations as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good supervisory skills and ability to work within a team
  • Project Systems Completion/commissioning experience with offshore facilities.
  • Worldwide experience with Contractors, in particular those involved in the construction of offshore facilities
  • Prior experience interfacing with Offshore Operational department

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor (CMMS / MM / BOM Build)

  • To manage the overall end to end Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Material Master (MM) and Bill of Material (BOM) Build for the  Project’s assets business process with a sound knowledge and skills in client’s  Quality Management System (QMS), Master Data Governance (MDG) and the client’s SAP S4HANA.
  • To ensure the flawless delivery of CMMS data for SAP Master data objects (Task Lists, Measuring Points, Maintenance Plans, Material Master, Bill of Material and Functional Location) in order to achieve safe and top quartile readiness of maintenance and operations systems for a faultless completion, commissioning and startup of the LNG  Project scope and also achieve safe maintenance of existing Assets at tie-in points.

Main Accountabilities

  • Implement and maintain the Master Data Governance (MDG) and SAP S4HANA ensuring data accuracy and system integrity for Project Assets and train users on the client’s CMMS, MM & BOM applications, providing ongoing support and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Supervise the team that is building the CMM, MM and BOM modules and collaborate to establish preventive maintenance schedules and optimize work order management within the CMMS.
  • Work with the IT department to ensure system security and data backup procedures are in place for the project CMMS and ensure integration of RCM and RBI Data into CMMS functionalities.
  • Develop and maintain a library of standard operating procedures for equipment maintenance and repairs within the CMMS, activate the existing Tie-In Master Data, and generate Maintenance Schedule as part of EBM delivery.
  • Achieve project equipment serialisation in line with client’s Asset’s guidelines, create reports and dashboards to communicate maintenance performance metrics within the CMMS to stakeholders.
  • Maintain the library of O&M manuals, drawings, manufacturers’ specification sheets, and schematics and effectively integrate associated scanned images into the CMMS.
  • Supervises data entry personnel and provides complete quality assurance of the data input by others, and define, implement, and enforce inventory standards and maintenance activities.
  • Implement and oversee the parts warehousing, energy management, and project management functions of the CMMS and provide comprehensive helpdesk service for all CMMS, MM and BOM application users on the Project

Job Requirements
Education:

  • OND, HND or Bachelor’s Degree in any field of Maintenance Engineering or Science discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years oil & gas plant maintenance experience preferably in the oil and gas industry with at least 2 years at similar role in a complex oil and gas.
  • Active participant in the client’s SAP-PM Implementation Project, ranging from the Physical Asset Verification, Legacy Data Migration from PACER to S4HANA, Solution Implementations for S4HANA, Technical and Business Go-Live and lastly the Hypercare.
  • Experience working with P&IDs, Isometrics, and Control Drawings for oil and gas Plant design, construction, commissioning and start up.

Job Title: Commissioning and Start Up Shift Supervisor

Job Purpose / Objective

  • To lead the field activities, in the execution of the Integrated Operations, Commissioning and Start up plans, by ensuring the completion, commissioning and start-up of the plant carried out in a safe and efficient manner as per procedures and as directed by Commissioning and Start Up Lead.
  • Coordinate the Shift teams in the daily commissioning and start up activities to ensure that safe working conditions are maintained at all times and work progress are maintained as per project
  • Coordinate the team in the regular walk down of process/utility lines, installation, tie-in etc. to ensure that plant is built as per design, to the right quality and to ensure
  • Act as a signatory (at Shift Supervisor/AGSI (Authorized Gas Safety Inspector) level) to the Commissioning and Start up Permit to Work (PTW) system, authorize Permit to Work (PTW) to the Maintenance/Contractors team for effective control, authorization and safe work execution. Oversight of CSU (Commissioning & Start-Up) Permit to Work (PTW) system and signatory for high-risk permits and activities (major energizations, large equipment testing, high pressure testing)
  • Work with the Contractor/Vendor personnel and coordinate the close involvement and oversight on the plant completion, integrity checks and commissioning activities to ensure flawless and safe
  • Coordinate project execution/tie-in in the Brownfield environment to ensure that plant projects are implemented as per design, properly commissioned with as built document draft available in the shift without any information gap within the shift with regard to the new
  • Assist in the development of the commissioning, start up and shutdown plans and their execution as assigned by the Commissioning Shift Superintendent for effectiveness in plan implementation
  • Develop and review operations/commissioning, start up and shutdown procedures for Project scope, capturing lessons learnt and to enable continuous improvement in Primary signatory for completions and P2A (Project to Asset) activities (handover of Care Custody and Control for systems & areas, post start-up operations testing)
  • Responsible for managing testing of major equipment through CSU (Commissioning & Start-Up) shift resources, vendors, and contactor resources (i.e. test run of GT, main compressors, large pumps, first fills)
  • Responsible for early start-up and operation of utilities to support further CSU (Commissioning & Start-Up) activities (i.e. start-up of IA compressors, nitrogen units, water units.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years working experience in oil and gas operations with at least 10 years experience in Plant
  • Operations as Principal Operator or at Supervisory
  • Experience with Commissioning and Startup of  Oil & Gas facility is considered a qualifying advantage
  • Experience in providing CSU (Commissioning & Start-Up) related design input and working in an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, And Construction) or a plant environment considered an advantage
  • Working experience on part of, or the entire, ORP (Operations Reference Plan) Project life cycle (from conceptual design through to final commissioning and handover) and/or in the front-line Oil and Gas production operations is desirable
  • Experience with Management of Change process, Operations Integrity / Process Safety Management Processes.

Competency Requirements:

  • Lead HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) Risk Management
  • Permit to Work Supervisory AGST (Authorized Gas Safety Tester) certification
  • Strong supervisory/leadership skill of leading multi-discipline teams
  • Proven record on safe production and / or commissioning and start-up particularly in Oil & Gas Train process /utility areas
  • Strong team player, willing to overcome differences and collaborate with multiple disciplines
  • Has proven hands on coaching skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-national, multi-cultural environment
