Job Title: Head of Operations

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Operations to lead our administrative and operational functions, with a strong focus on project management and process optimization.
  • This role will be pivotal in driving efficiency, overseeing cross-functional operations, and ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
  • You will play a key role in digitizing workflows, coordinating projects, and managing resources to ensure the seamless execution of tasks and company initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Management & Digitization:

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations to ensure smooth workflows, optimal resource utilization, and timely execution of tasks.
  • Lead the assessment and implementation of digital tools to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
  • Develop and maintain digital document management systems to improve organization and ease of access to key information.

Administrative Leadership:

  • Organize travel logistics, accommodation, and event coordination for staff and external stakeholders.

Project Management & Coordination:

  • Coordinate and oversee company projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with business objectives.
  • Implement and maintain strong project management practices using digital tools to track progress and facilitate communication.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure smooth project execution, particularly with donor engagements and event planning.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure projects remain on track and meet established KPIs.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a cross-functional operations team to achieve performance targets and drive operational excellence.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
  • Facilitate effective communication across departments to ensure alignment of operational goals with overall company objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in operations, administration, and project management roles, with demonstrated leadership and management capabilities.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with a track record of delivering successful projects.

Project Management:

  • Manage investment projects and trade initiatives, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and milestones.
