Details of the Singapore International Graduate Award

The Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) is a joint initiative by the Agency for Science, Technology & Research (A*STAR), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), National University of Singapore (NUS), and Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD).

PhD training will be conducted in English at research labs within A*STAR Research Institutes, NTU, NUS, or SUTD, under the supervision of distinguished and globally recognized researchers. Upon completion, students will be awarded a PhD degree from NTU, NUS, or SUTD.

Eligibility Criteria for the SINGA Scholarship 2025

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Open to all international graduates with a strong passion for research and excellent academic achievements.
Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Favorable academic referee reports.

Benefits of the Singapore International Graduate Award 2025

The SINGA Scholarship provides support for up to four years of PhD studies, including:

Full coverage of tuition fees.
Monthly stipend starting at S$2,200, increasing to S$2,700 after passing the Qualifying Examination.

A one-time settling-in allowance of S$1,000.
