Job Title: Operations Officer

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Officer to join our team in the oil and gas sector.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operational activities, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and optimizing processes for efficiency and safety.
  • This role requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of operational best practices in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate daily operational activities to ensure smooth execution.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and industry regulations.
  • Monitor and analyze operational performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with various departments to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant industry software.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing asset lifecycles, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement asset management strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintain an up-to-date asset register, tracking acquisitions, disposals, and transfers.
  • Coordinate the procurement, distribution, and maintenance of company resources.
  • Ensure all assets are properly documented, tagged, and accounted for in compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor asset conditions and oversee routine maintenance schedules.
  • Develop and enforce resource allocation plans to optimize utilization.

Salary
N450,000 – N550,000 per month.
