Job Description

  • Develop deep, actionable consumer insights on brand, competition, usage and attitudes, and leisure pursuits.
  • Based on sound consumer insight and strategy defined by the business, prepare 360 degree plans for market to generate demand for the brands assigned and achieve market share targets.
  • Help develop consumer validated winning communication for the brands assigned.
  • Ensure consistency of communication and adherence to the Brand Pyramids in various touchpoints by all.
  • Ensure execution of brand plans on time and budget.
  • Management of external agencies to deliver the best creative output and on-time execution.
  • Understand how consumers assimilate media & Implement efficient media planning & buying.
  • Ensure effective management of internal and external research projects using the right tools and techniques.
  • Manage the development of pack design (new/ changes).
  • Drive innovations in existing and new areas following the stage-gate methodology. Ensure an 18 month rolling Rhythm Chart.
  • Help with Trade Marketing Requirements.
  • From the product ‘point of view’ ensure that targeted GCs are maintained & higher GC products develop consumer franchise.

Job Title: Production Manager

Job Description

  • The Production Manager is tasked with executing the approved plan to meet the production volume, quality, and safety standards for the hazardous plant.
  • Coordination with the maintenance department is essential to implement the preventive maintenance plan and minimize process breakdowns.

  • Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager to execute all preventive maintenance plans and procure spare parts.
  • Monitor daily maintenance reports and collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure optimal performance and minimize plant downtime.
  • Ensure continuous development of all team members through training, coaching, and encouragement, with a particular focus on hazardous plant operations, compliance with HSE and GMP standards, and maintaining and improving internal process control, environmental management, and food and employee safety.
  • Investigate operational problems, analyze modification proposals from shift supervisors, and assist the Plant Manager in implementing these modifications for smooth operations.
  • Develop and periodically review plant SOPs to maintain healthy operations and ensure compliance with all relevant standards.
  • Coordinate with the logistics and engineering departments to ensure a minimum stock of plant consumables.

Requirements

  • Possess an Engineering Degree, preferably in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Have a minimum of 10 years of experience as a Production/Process Manager in large Solvent Extraction Plants with a capacity of over 1000 tons per day.
  • Experience with modern solvent extraction technology is considered an added advantage.

  • Involvement in plant continuous improvement and Problem-solving methodologies
  • Conducting RCA using tools like 5ys, fish bone, CAPA, why-why analysis to prevent failures re-occurrence.
  • Management of maintenance budget by implementation of preventive maintenance to reduce equipment breakdown
  • Annual appraisals & setting objectives for mechanical technicians and shift leads in line with department objectives
  • Ensure no safety incidents happen in his area of work
  • Plan and organize preventive maintenance of the relevant machines to ensure maintenance schedules are followed.

Strategic Effectiveness:

  • To execute planned maintenance activities with 100% compliance in accordance with existing maintenance policy and reduce cost of equipment maintenance to an acceptable level (budget limit).
  • To ensure a simplified PM regime to achieve minimum equipment availability of 95% and reduce breakdowns to below 5%.
  • To conduct RCA sessions & take preventive actions to prevent re-occurrence of same issues.
  • Manage the effective maintenance of all machines in the mills to ensure that they are performing efficiently and effectively.
  • Work on machine pro-plant generated by pro-plan system.
  • Maximize plant availability by ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Plan and order spare parts and tools for maintenance work to avoid delay due to material availability.
  • Document maintenance records for analysis and future reference.
  • Technical Training and development of technical subordinates to improve performance.
  • Control usage of materials and tools for optimal efficiency of machines.
  • Vet and recommend contract awards for 3rd party maintenance services to ensure compliance to specification.

Job Description

  • To operate and maintain the flour mill under the direction of the Head Miller, sustaining the mission and motto and food safety and quality statement of the mill.

Manufacturing:

  • Maximize milling efficiency in the plant daily by focusing on adjustment and operation of the mill.
  • Execute production planning which is given by Head/Chief miller.

  • Maintain and administer all personnel records and systems relating to employees (excluding records of sickness, absenteeism and holidays, recorded in the general office)
  • Coordinate with managers to ensure the safekeeping of all company agreements and financial instruments

  • Communicate and interface with all levels of the organization and external agencies/contacts including statutory bodies
