Job Title: Fluids Supervisor

Service Purpose

• To guarantee the accomplishment of the drilling and/or completion and/or work-over operations (Drilling Fluids engineering and products, Cementing, Waste Management (Rig site cuttings treatment, bulk cuttings transfer and onshore cuttings treatment and disposal), in compliance with codes of practice, safety and environmental protection, all while optimizing costs and lead times

He/she shall perform the following:

• Ensure the follow-up of the fluids related operations which include drilling fluids engineering and products, cementing, waste management (rig site cuttings treatment, bulk cuttings transfer and onshore cuttings treatment and disposal).
• Interface with the rig Contractor’s personnel and ensure Equipment and Services meet operational needs
• Ensure the execution of services in line with the Fluids (mud and cement) programs drawn up by Onshore Fluids Superintendent.
• Ensure contractors respect COMPANY’s referential standards and COMPANY RULES are adhered to.
• Ensure rig-site reports are correct and prepared in a timely manner
• Support COMPANY’s Representative as the main contact for all fluid-related operations at the rig-site
• Follow up the execution of fluids, cement, solids control and waste management services at the rig-site
• Supervise all critical rig-site fluid-related operations, like cementing, mud displacements, completions, specialized testing procedures and the like.
• Ensure strict adherence of the rig-site Contractor representatives to the programs/jobs required
• Interface between the Onshore Fluids Superintendent and Contractor representatives
• Ensure correct and timely completion of each phase of work, post job reports
• Ensure rig-site execution of service quality improvement plans by rig-site Contractor representatives
• Participate in optimizing the activities of service Contractors and evaluating their performance
• Be aware of the relevant Environmental and Regulatory guidelines regulated by the DPR (as summarized in the EGASPIN) and FMENV.
• Anticipate operational needs, with rig-site Contractor Engineers and place orders through Onshore Fluids Superintendent.
• Be involved in setting up operational structures and execution at the rig-site
• Ensure that service delivery meets with good Quality, Health, Safety and Environment practices
• Collaborate with Onshore Fluids Superintendent for effective logistics coordination in respect of supply boats, quantity of products
  and the like.

Profile
Qualifications:

• Minimum of HND or Bachelor’s Degree in any Sciences or Engineering
• Number of years of professional experience: + 7 years in FLUIDS (drilling fluids, cementing and waste management) business
• Spoken Languages: Fluent in English (French – an added advantage)
• Trainings / Certifications: Must possess current IWCF, BOSIET & Medical certifications.

Job Title: PSV Technician

Job Description

• We are looking to strengthen its workforce in Nigeria by recruiting experienced Pressure Safety Valve (PSV) Technician to join our offshore operations team.

Key Responsibilities
Operations & Maintenance:

• Perform inspection, testing, disassembly, calibration, and reassembly of Pressure Safety Valves (PSVs), Pressure Relief Valves (PRVs), and associated control devices.
• Execute valve maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs following OEM specifications and industry standards.
• Conduct pressure leak testing and seat tightness verification using hydrostatic and pneumatic test benches.
  Ensure PSV settings comply with ASME, API 527, API 576, and client specifications.
• Conduct in-situ testing and maintenance of spring-loaded, pilot-operated, and rupture disc pressure relief systems.
• Document all maintenance activities, test results, and findings in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) (e.g., SAP, Maximo).
• Support periodic turnaround (TAR) and shutdown valve maintenance campaigns.

Equipment & System Monitoring:

• Monitor and assess PSV performance, identifying anomalies and recommending corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices for overpressure protection systems.
• Maintain valve storage records and ensure proper tagging and traceability of PSVs.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

• Ensure strict compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and Work at Height safety procedures.
• Adhere to HSE policies and report non-conformances or unsafe conditions to the QHSE department.
• Follow best practices for handling, lubricating, and assembling PSVs to maintain performance and reliability.

Profile

• Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in PSV maintenance within offshore oil & gas or petrochemical environments.
• Proven experience with safety relief valves from major OEMs (e.g., Anderson Greenwood, Consolidated, Farris, Leser, Crosby, and Tyco).
• Hands-on experience with hydrostatic and pneumatic testing equipment.
  Proficiency in troubleshooting PSV issues, including set pressure deviations, seat leakage, and chatter.
• Strong understanding of process pressure management, overpressure protection systems, and relief device operations.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, valve datasheets, and PSV test certificates.
• Experience with shutdown and turnaround PSV maintenance planning.

Job Title: Labour Relations Officer

• The Labour Relations Officer is responsible to serve as SPIE’s agent in labour relations and negotiations of assigned unions and the administration of labour relations programs and activities.
• He / she works collaboratively with union leaders and business leaders to improve and align labour relations with the SPIE core values, policies and procedures.
• Oversees negotiation teams, the interpretation and application of contract language and implementation of collective bargaining agreements and settlements.
• This includes development of appropriate negotiation strategies and tactics to achieve cost effective and competitive labour agreements, contract administration, grievance and arbitration administration and preparation.
• This position also provides support to the respective management team and is responsible for administering, safeguarding, and training supervisors and managers on the labour agreement.

• Negotiating collective bargaining agreements
• Overseeing labor agreement administration including advising operating management on disciplinary and contract interpretation issues to ensure compliance with local labor agreements, assisting management in developing policies and systems consistent with maximizing management flexibility
• Maintaining positive relationships with union leadership
• Providing advice on overall employee relations activities
• Managing the grievance and arbitration process to ensure thorough, timely and effective adjudication of employee complaints and grievances; working with management and union leaders to resolve disputes
• Working with Business Units and Corporate Human Resources (benefits, compensation) to ensure alignment with corporate policies and procedures during the negotiations process and implementation of agreements.
