What You Bring
- Plans for Sales Volumes and Potential Opportunities of all customers in the assigned region (Africa)
- Provides relevant information via SFDC for forecasts and planning
- Analyses the specific market conditions and builds a sound market related network of Stakeholders per Region
- Identifies Opportunities for application to CD’s Product and Service Portfolio Solutions
- Prepares and Understands Customer contact via CRM and Builds, Maintains a customer focused network per region.
- Prepares / coordinates and negotiate proposals and Quotations in cooperation with proposal management and/or other involved professionals and/or Management
- Coordinates the realization of assignments, may coordinate and contribute to set up respective product solution developments, projects or services programs
- Completes sales and revenue related key reporting
- Contributes to the development of After-Market business in the region
- Act as a point of contact to customers in CD matters and influences collaboration within the organization to secure customer support
- Full responsibility and accountability for assigned customers in Africa with personalized order entry target based on agreed overall Sales Business Target Agreements
- Manage customer relations on all levels of assigned customers
- Business Development responsibility to identify growth market segments and develop sales pipeline future visions of 2-5 years.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Minimum 5 years’ Experience in Project Sales with exposure to Controls & Instrumentation Technologies and Products
- DCS / C&I Experience in Power Generation Sector is Preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a Cross-Functional / International Team
- Ability to work on fast-paced Power Generation / Industrial Customer engagements, including outside of normal Business Hours.
- Ability to meet travel requirements when they arise on an “If-and-When-Required” Basis across Africa

About the Role
- This position serves as a company technical and administrative representative, resident engineer and deals with customer service assignment. On-site preventive and scheduled maintenance service work, call-out services and new unit commissioning activities on gas turbines product lines and packages.
Responsibilities
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Under general direction and instructions, independently determines and develops approaches to solutions to customer requirements and problems.
- Understands and complies with company and customer safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure the work permit system is complied with.
- Ensure safe site and practices.
- Participate by attending general safety and toolbox safety meetings. Suggest safety improvements.
- Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with company policy, manufacturer’s recommendations and good practices.
- Must have basic knowledge of methods and experience in the categories of maintenance on the products and various equipment associated with primary package.
- Must be able to recognize abnormal sounds vibrations and potential safety problems at inception and take appropriate action to prevent a serious safety hazard that could develop to equipment damage or loss of production.
- Provide timely and daily reports to the relevant manager on on-going projects or daily work.
- Keep abreast of pending work and personnel required to complete the projects.
- Ensure that necessary parts are available and submit materials requisitions when required.
- Accurate feedback and communication to pre-planned report format.
- Keep and update all equipment histories to effectively forecast equipment utilization and efficiency.
- Co-ordinate any changes necessary to ensure operations are efficient and minimal downtime is required. Ensure effective communication and reporting to immediate supervision and if applicable to customer representatives.
- Will utilize sound judgment when analyzing problems.
- Solve problems with little or no supervision in a timely manner and at a nominal cost.
- Master all procedures and available options of identifying sources of information and technical advice. Will have sufficient product knowledge to repair and adjust minor electrical components/systems and will be capable of reading applicable drawings and technical manuals.
- Provide short to medium term scheduling of personnel and materials required for smooth routine maintenance and commissioning of plant.
- Adequate strategy of engaging operations in releasing equipment in a timely manner for maintenance. Will be, required to assist in a technical manner with the operations and maintenance crew in any area if the workload exceeds the number of personnel available.
- Monitor maintenance services or installation support to ensure they are carried out within company policy, manufacturers’ recommendations and in a safe manner
- Ensure major interventions are planned, executed on schedule and within commercial orders.
What You Bring
- Must have verifiable above 8-years of working experience on gas turbine and advanced controls systems in a related industry.
- Advanced computer software expertise and electronic hardware handling proficiency
- Will have served on recognized gas turbine product lines and/or having long period of continuous occupation as gas turbines controls engineer.
- Will possess a technical qualification e.g. Engineering Degree, preferably in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
- Experience in an onshore/offshore environment is essential.
- Deep knowledge of rotating equipment packages background will be an asset.
- Familiarity with Gas Turbine engine theory, packages systems theory and operational will be an asset.

- Our Service Organization is looking for a highly driven, self-motivated Commercial Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for all commercial aspects and project financials for Service Orders and acting as finance partner to our sales and project management organization.
- The position requires working in a dynamic environment, where financial expertise is brought to the bid, proposal, and contract execution processes.

- Review, analyze and negotiate financial and commercial components of internal/external customer proposals and Master Frame Agreements.
- Ensure the accuracy of the cost and pricing calculation during contract negotiations together with the Sales Lead & Project Manager
- Work in collaboration with the project managers to provide commercial support for assigned projects according to PM@SE guidelines and contractual agreements.
- Responsible for all commercial aspects and project financials including monthly revenue recognition, forecasting, risk and opportunity management, lessons learned, and optimizing profit margins & cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with accounting rules (IFRS 15 & local GAAP) Legal, Compliance, Tax, Foreign Exchange and business models.
- Perform monthly project financial forecasting, reporting and assess and communicate risks and opportunities regarding financial impacts.
- Ensure achievement of contract requirements (assist with performance guarantees, fx hedging insurances, taxes, etc).
- erform various general ledger activities including project related journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations. Support Internal and External Audits as required.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent experience is required.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Business Administration or in Finance, preferably with experience in Project Execution
- Knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS, percentage of completion (PoC) accounting, and strong skills with Microsoft Office applications and SAP are required.
- Leadership experiences are preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English, 3rd language (beneficial)
- Ability to travel is required.
