Job Title: Accountant
Location: Abule-Egba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
About the Role
- Valuemart Supermarket and StaanBite Fast Food are looking for a detail-oriented, trustworthy, and proactive Inventory Officerto join our growing team.
- The ideal candidate will oversee stock movement across our supermarket and fast-food operations, ensure accurate records, and support smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control stock levels across all departments.
- Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using our POS/stock system.
- Track product expiry dates, damages, and fast-moving items.
- Work with procurement to ensure timely replenishment.
- Reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Prepare stock reports for management.
- Prevent stock loss through proper documentation and controls.
Requirements
- Minimum OND / HND / B.Sc. in any relevant field.
- 1–3 years experience as an Inventory Officer or Storekeeper (retail/food industry preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good knowledge of POS or inventory management systems.
- Must be trustworthy, organized, and proactive.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Must live within or close toAbule-Egba / Agege / Iyana-Ipaja / Alakuko / Ojokoro axis.
Salary
- N120,000 – N150,000 per month.
