Job Title: Contracts Administrator III

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Contracts

Main Functions

  • Ensure Contractors work in accordance with contract terms and conditions. Ensure timely placement of Purchase Orders that support contract services for production work in compliance with corporate controls and best practices.
  • Track progress, and support Supervisors with coordinating Contractor’s compliance regarding company systems and controls. Oversee the administration and performance of service contracts.
  • Ensure contract payments are executed accurately and anomalies are identified. Ensure payments are made to Contractors in accordance with requirements of Company agreements held with Contracts in a timely manner.
  • Advise on contract risks and support the stewardship of gap closure and opportunities for improvement, assisting with prioritization where required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in pre-qualification and contractor selection
  • Liaise with Procurement to ensure required Contract Documents are in place
  • Participate in contract handover between Procurement and Business Line
  • Initiate and Facilitate contract kick-off meeting with Contractor
  • Communicate with Contractor to develop a joint Interface Management Plan
  • Engage in contract life cycle and overseeing the entire contract portfolio for each business line/function
  • Responsible for stewarding contractor interface activities throughout contract life cycle
  • Participate in service planning and develop contract strategy
  • Act as a liaison and coordinator among Procurement, SSH&E and Operations within the business line
  • Establish and maintain the Active Contractor Tracking Database
  • Monthly KPI reporting (e.g., Contract Stewardship, Man hour reporting, etc.)
  • Link to other business lines to share best practice
  • Coordinate and conduct Contractors Site Assessment
  • Coordinate review contractor crew competency
  • Organize and coordinate Contractor Performance Assessments (Reporting Quarterly interface, A&D compliance, Contractor compliance check and Annual Performance Scorecard)
  • Report Contractor performance to OIMS 8-1 System Owner and Administrator
  • Coordinate and facilitate Level 2 and 3 quarterly, annual performance review/feedback meetings
  • Liaise with SSH&E Team to schedule Level 4 SSHE Sharing Meeting
  • Assist with coordinate Level 5 Annual Contractor Safety Forum
  • Assist Contract Owner in performing suspension and/or termination to contracts
  • Initiate and ensure contract completion and close out with contractor

Job Requirements

  • Experience with Contract administration, with service-contractor environments preferred.
  • Experience within a large corporation or complex organizational setting.
  • Experience and confidence working in field or industrial environments, including remote locations.
  • Experience working with developing businesses, and also Landowner Companies (LANCO’s).
  • Experience in engaging with contractors, in a developing country environment.
  • Highest standard of Safety, Health, Environment aptitude and cultivates the same in others

Job Title: Process Engineer I

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Contracts

Main Functions

  • Participate in the development of basic process design specifications or provide oversight of an engineering contractor’s technical deliverables during the front end design / detailed engineering phases of projects.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Perform process optimization studies to identify / evaluate capital / operating cost savings, process configuration alternatives, safety facilities requirements, etc.

  • Support internal engineering general interest or Global Practice initiatives as requested by the Supervisor

Job Requirements

  • BS Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent, required
  • Experience in petroleum refining/chemical process industry / with an engineering contractor serving these industries
  • Capital project development experience
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
  • Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications.

Job Title: Field Operator II

Location: Nigeria

Main Functions

  • Operate equipment and wells by applying operating and safety procedures and guidelines to meet daily operational plan, reduce equipment failure and efficient resources administration

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Responsible to implement on daily work objectives, housekeeping, safety, health, environmental and security
  • Active participation on daily toolbox meetings and regular, reported safety meetings
  • Identify and implement corrective and optimization actions by the continuous surveillance of wells and equipment to ensure reliable, efficient and safe operational conditions
  • Function as Equipment Care Technician, and routinely use Maintenance skills in performing simple maintenance activities

  • Ensure that Operations Shift Supervisor is informed and consulted about operations activities
  • Ensure good communication across the work team so that issues / actions can be adequately addressed
  • Provide the basic facts concerning well producing problems, current production rates, and current condition of the well
  • Ensure that the well problem diagnostics are thorough and complete before requesting Well Work intervention operations
  • Ensure that the wellhead and well surface equipment are maintained and are in good working order prior to Wellwork operations taking over responsibility for the well for intervention operations
  • Provide assistance and support to the ongoing Wellwork operations as needed

Job Title: Senior Process Engineer

Location: Nigeria 

Responsiblities

  • Perform process optimization studies and recommend solutions to optimize existing installations.
  • Support Offshore Operations and SMART Room with flow assurance, process trouble shooting and production optimization activities.
  • Provide Process assistance to Engineering Studies & Projects & other entities (e.g., Dev/Planning).
  • Ensure Process studies are in accordance with Company Rules, General Specifications and International Standards.
  • Support Field Operations Site Modification Request (SMR) coordinator in SMR management.
  • Recommend facility and / or equipment modification and optimization work programs and prepare the corresponding Scope of Requirements (i.e., Feasibility, Pre-project studies or SMRs).
  • Participate in developing safety-related modifications to facilities and corresponding engineering documents (P&IDs, ESD and Fire and Gas logic Diagrams, Flare radiation and capacity, PSVs, HIPS, …).
  • Supervise the Process studies performed by the junior Process Engineers.
  • Participate and lead (where applicable) technical reviews (HAZOP, PTR, Safety reviews) and consolidate opinions.
  • Support Operational preparation and preparedness for PFSD and FFSD scope of work.
  • Contribute to the evolution of tools and work methods.
  • Provide relevant process documentations to other disciplines -Maintenance, Well Performance, Development planning, etc.
  • Prepare REX inputs to HQ and other affiliates on process feedback in DW operations.
  • Provide training to less-experienced engineers under the supervision of Head of Process & Flow Assurance.
  • Contribute to the training and provide coaching to young engineers and Interns in the group.
  • Participation in process optimization.
  • Perform and supervise process and flow assurance studies.
  • Provide support to offshore operations and SMART Room as required for quick resolution of process problems.
  • Competence/Knowledge transfer to other team members.
  • Perform assigned duties safely in accord with DW HSE procedures.
  • Familiar with DW emergency procedures and report on any incident, unsafe act or operation.

Requirements

  • B.Eng in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 6+ years of Process Engineering studies, including site operations exposure.
  • Required skills: familiar with the use of process simulation tools such as HYSIS; ProII; OLGA; Flaresim.

Main Functions

  • Verify security adherence for all employees and contractors
  • Conduct security surveys on according to company standards
  • Investigate security incidents as required
  • Carry out security related liaison activities as needed
  • Coordinates activities of security forces when needed
  • Prepare the Security Monthly Time-sheet
  • Assist at Flight arrivals and departures

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Previous experience in Security
  • Ability to manage a team in a period of crisis
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Minimum experience in a position within law enforcement, Private security, or military.

Job Title: Fluids Advisor III

Location: Nigeria 

Main Functions

  • Provide technical and operations support for drilling and completion fluids selection, design, and management for drilling and completion operations.
  • Provide technical and operations support for solids control and waste management for drilling and completions operations.
  • Serves as a technical resource to perform audits of vendor processes and facilities.

Tasks and Responsibilities
In addition to Level 1 and 2 tasks and responsibilities, Level 3:

  • Oversee accurate and save additions of material to the fluid system
  • Ensure material is properly marked and material data sheets for each product are maintained and readily available
  • Ensure all fluid solids control equipment is working properly and set for optimal conditions for the operations in progress
  • Forecast future fluid materials needs and equipment spare needs to ensure adequate inventory exists and provide lists of additional quantities if needed
  • Ensure inventory management for materials, equipment spares and tank utilization are provided daily to the Company’s location supervisor representative
  • Ensure available storage space is effectively used to meet the requirements for the well and to optimize fluid inventory / costs
  • Ensure daily that a thorough and accurate fluid report and recommended actions are provided to the Company’s location supervisor representative.

Cementing Tasks:

  • Work with Drilling Engineers in planning for future drill wells (writing cementing programs) and performing surveillance on active operations
  • Steward overall performance of the cementing vendor
  • Trouble shoot cementing operation. Track and close out non-conformance reports.
  • Steward lab testing of cement slurries.

Job Requirements

  • B.S. Degree in Engineering or related technical field is preferred
  • Experience in fluids, solids control and waste management
  • Experience in international assignments
  • Experience in deep water drilling operations (1000m) if filling a deep water drilling engineering position
  • Experience in water based and non-aqueous drilling fluids; experience with various completion fluids

Job Title: Inspection Advisor II

Job Summary 

  • Promote safety within area of specialty

  • Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), final inspection release activities, review of supplier Quality Control documents and support closure of punch list items
  • Keep Quality supervision updated with status of quality issues

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership / expertise in quality inspection activities, make judgments and decisions the technical and physical adequacy of associated equipment and systems
  • Provides input to and validate Contractor’s / Supplier procedures for inspection and for testing / examining components
  • Generate, review and revise operational procedures for inspection and test equipment
  • Interface with Quality and Engineering disciplines to provide inspection and testing expertise in the development and review of drawings, procedures and Project plans
  • Support project with the development of method statements and/or examination technique recommendations for equipment inspections; travel to construction and/or fabrication site when requested to review and make technical advice for compliance with specified requirements
  • Coordinate activities of 3rd party and Contractor’s inspectors within discipline, in conjunction with Supplier’s Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) team
  • Utilize Quality Management expertise to perform audits and/or assessments of Contractors / Supplier implementation of inspection activities and document deficiencies
  • Perform supplementary inspections and verifications in accordance with requirements of the Inspection and Testing Plan (ITP) and the Project Surveillance Plan(s)
  • Provide early warning of potential quality problems and the expertise to avoid / resolve them

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Engineering or Science preferred
  • Experience executing project construction or quality assurance/control of procurement or construction activities
  • Manufacturing, fabrication or construction experience related to project scope
  • Recent experience in selected inspection discipline
  • Willing and able to business travel (domestic/overseas) to project sites to provide various levels of support.

  • The Materials Management Engineer (MME) supports or leads the implementation of project materials purchasing and management.

  • Coordinates and oversees heavy modules transportation planning and execution, consulting with Construction Logistics personnel as necessary
  • Assists in development of close out plans and reporting.

Requirements

  • BS in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or Supply Chain Management preferred
