APPLY FOR 2023 KICKSTART POWERED BY INTERNATIONAL BREWERIES FOUNDATION The International Breweries Foundation, a subsidiary of International Breweries Plc and a proud part of the AB InBev Group, aims to deliver impactful, developmental, and sustainable projects. Kickstart, an initiative of the Foundation, focuses on fostering enterprise growth and development for young entrepreneurs. The program provides training, access to capital through grants, and mentoring to support youth-owned businesses.
Kickstart is also available in other African countries as part of the AB InBev Group’s Africa Zone initiative. The program has been successfully implemented in South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Swaziland, and Tanzania. In Nigeria, Kickstart began in 2016 and has completed three editions in the South West and South East regions. Starting from 2019, Kickstart has become a national intervention in Nigeria, accepting applications from youths across the six geo-political zones of the country.
How to Apply
To participate in Kickstart, prospective awardees need to complete and submit an application form. To be considered for shortlisting, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Age: 18 to 35 years
- Communication: Proficient in English language (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Location: Reside in Nigeria and have their business operations within the country
- Business Areas:
- Agriculture (Rice Farming, Maize Farming, Sorghum Farming)
- Circular Packaging
- Retailing (Retail of International Breweries Products)
- Renewable Energy
- Others
Businesses must be between 0 to 3 years old. The deadline for application submission is Monday, July 24th, 2023.
