Apply for ITF’s SEED Grant ($100,000 USD) The ITF is excited to announce the commencement of our 7th grant cycle! We invite applications from trans-led organizations operating with budgets below $100,000 USD, located in any global region. The application deadline is December 12, 2022, at 5pm (ET/New York time).
Grant Types
SEED Grant (1-year)
The SEED grant offers 1-year funding for general support and/or project initiatives to trans-led organizations that have not received prior funding from ITF or prefer this grant over the THRIVE Grant. Funding amounts range between $10,000 and $25,000 USD per year.
THRIVE Grant (1-year)
The THRIVE grant, available for 1 year, provides general support to trans-led organizations that have previously been funded by ITF and maintain a good standing. Grant sizes range from $25,000 to $50,000 USD per year.

Video Applications
To enhance inclusivity, ITF accepts video applications. This option is open to organizations unable to submit a written application in English, French, Russian, Simplified Chinese, or Spanish. Instead, they can present their application verbally in one of these languages. All applications must address the same inquiries. Contact details and budget templates should be submitted in writing.
Videos should not exceed 10 minutes and can be in .mp4 or .mov formats. We encourage “Selfie-style” videos where you directly address your smartphone, tablet, or computer to discuss your organization’s work. No special effects, labels, or editing are necessary. Videos without clear identification of the speaker representing the organization will not be accepted.
