Job Title: Business Development Manager

Job Description
- Develop and foster business through pro-active direct sales, marketing, telemarketing, direct email, appointment calls and tours of the hotel.
- Develops strategic action plans for hotels to drive measurable, incremental sales revenue
- Recommend tools and sales training to optimize performance of sales team and deploy sales and marketing resources
- Responsible for Corporate and Travel Agent Room Sales for the hotel.
- Clear understanding of the hotels business strategies, then set goals and to determine action plans to meet those goals.
- Update action plans and financial objectives quarterly.
- Identify new markets and business opportunities and increase sales.
- Represent Hotels in various events and exhibition.
- Conducts daily sales calls and arrange site inspection trips to hotels by corporate clients.
- Participates in sales calls with members of sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business.
- Able to supports hotels service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
- Work closely with Finance Manager to ensure proposed rate negotiations meet the financial needs of the hotels.
- Accompany sales team on sales calls to potential clients to assist in development of the account and to access the effectiveness and sales skills of the sales person.
- Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, trade shows, etc.
- Develops relationships within community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities.
- Manages and develops relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND qualification with 4 – 5 years work experience.

- Installing and repairing equipment such as motors, pumps, valves, and boilers
- Helping to develop a maintenance plan for equipment to ensure that it stays in good working condition over time
- Performing tasks such as cleaning machinery or parts to remove dirt or other contaminants that could cause problems during an operation
- Evaluating possible causes of machinery failures and taking corrective action where needed
- Scheduling maintenance activities to ensure that machinery is in good working condition at all times.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification with 3- 4 years work experience.
- Candidates with added knowledge in electrical maintenance will be highly considered for this role.
