Job Description

  • As a Supply Chain Manager at FoodCourt, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our supply chain operations to ensure the seamless flow of products from suppliers to our restaurant partners and, ultimately, to our customers.
  • You will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to provide high-quality food and exceptional culinary experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and reliable deliveries of food and beverage products. Negotiate terms, pricing, and agreements to optimize cost-efficiency and quality.
  • Inventory Management: Implement effective inventory management strategies to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste and overstock situations. Coordinate with restaurant partners to ensure proper stock rotation.
  • Demand Forecasting: Analyze historical data and market trends to accurately forecast demand for food items. Adjust procurement plans accordingly to meet customer requirements.
  • Logistics and Distribution: Oversee the logistics and distribution process, including transportation, warehousing, and delivery to restaurant partners. Ensure efficient routing and timely deliveries.
  • Quality Control: Develop and implement quality control standards for all incoming products. Ensure that all food items meet safety and quality standards before distribution to restaurant partners.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain while maintaining product quality and reliability. Implement cost-effective procurement strategies.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, import/export requirements, and other relevant laws and regulations. Maintain necessary permits and licenses.
  • Vendor Performance Evaluation: Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular assessments to assess reliability, quality, and adherence to contractual agreements.
  • Technology Utilization: Leverage supply chain management software and tools to streamline processes, monitor performance, and improve overall efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, including buyers, logistics coordinators, and inventory specialists. Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in the food industry.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
