NDLEA Releases Final Lists of Successful Candidates for 2023 Recruitment Exercise The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has officially announced the final lists of successful candidates for the 2023 recruitment exercise in both Narcotic Officer and Narcotic Assistant cadres.
Narcotic Officers Basic Training (Cadet)
The underlisted candidates are required to undergo Narcotic Officers Basic (Cadet) training at the prestigious NDLEA Academy in Kotton Rikus, Jos Plateau State.
Narcotic Assistant (Trainees) Training Location
Successful candidates for the Narcotic Assistant (NA & NASS) Cadre will commence their training at the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) College of Peace and Disaster Management in Katsina State, located at KM 4 Babbar-Ruga Batsari Road.
Group-Wise Reporting Dates for Training
All successful candidates are assigned to specific groups and must report for training at their respective designated centers according to the following schedule:
Superintendent Cadre (Narcotic Officers) at NDLEA Academy, Kotton Rikus, Jos Plateau State
1. Group 1: Serial Number 1 – 400 (Thursday 27th July 2023)
2. Group 2: Serial Number 401 – 800 (Friday 28th July 2023)
3. Group 3: Serial Number 801 – 1,200 (Saturday 29th July 2023)
4. Group 4: Serial Number 1,201 – 1,600 (Monday 31st July 2023)
5. Group 5: Serial Number 1,601 – 2,000 (Tuesday 1st August 2023)
6. Group 6: Serial Number 2,001 – 2,428 (Wednesday 2nd August 2023)
Narcotic Assistant (NA & NASS) Cadre at NSCDC College of Peace and Disaster Management, Katsina
1. Group 1: Serial Number 1 – 400 (Saturday 12th August 2023)
2. Group 2: Serial Number 401 – 800 (Monday 14th August 2023)
3. Group 3: Serial Number 801 – 1,200 (Tuesday 15th August 2023)
4. Group 4: Serial Number 1,201 – 1,600 (Wednesday 16th August 2023)
5. Group 5: Serial Number 1,601 – 2,000 (Thursday 17th August 2023)
6. Group 6: Serial Number 2,001 – 2,415 (Friday 18th August 2023)
Instructions for Reporting Candidates
Successful candidates, both Narcotic Officers and Assistants, must adhere to the following guidelines when reporting for training:
1. Bring original and photocopies of credentials, including the National Identification Number (NIN) and the print out of the NDLEA online application reference slip.
2. Carry four recent color passport photographs without cap or hat.
3. Provide writing materials, such as biros, pencils, ruler, notebooks, and file jackets.
4. Wear three pairs of white (unmarked) round neck vests and navy-blue shorts (without stripes).
5. Bring two pairs of white and black socks.
6. Have two pairs of pure black canvas trainers (rubber type NOT acceptable).
7. Carry two white bed sheets and pillowcases.
8. Have two black trousers and white long-sleeve shirts.
9. Bring one blanket (grey or army green color).
10. Carry two pairs of national dress or suits and casual wears with shoes.
11. Purchase a bucket, cutlasses, and brooms upon arrival.
12. Bring some pocket money and toiletries.
13. Have a mosquito net.

Note
1. Candidates for the Superintendent (Supt) Cadre must report by 6 pm on Wednesday 2nd August 2023.
2. Candidates for the Narcotic Assistant (NA and NASS) Cadre must report by 6 pm on Friday 18th August 2023.
3. Pregnant female candidates will not be eligible to join the training.
4. Drug Integrity Test and pregnancy tests (for female candidates) will be conducted at various times during the training, and candidates testing positive will be immediately withdrawn from training.
