Key Responsibilities
- Gather Stories on behalf of News Central
- Report and write news stories for publication or broadcast, describing the
- background and details of events.
- Cover assigned reports and file packages
- Engage in Live Reporting from News location.
- Cover special reports/features as may be assigned
- Provide breaking news content for the digital team
- Arrange interviews with people who can provide information about a story.
- Work alongside correspondents and producers in story research.
- Support field teams with in-house production.
- Research and analyze background information related to stories to be able to provide complete and accurate information.
- Gather information about events through research, interviews, experience, and attendance at political, news, sports, artistic, social, and other functions.
- Investigate breaking news developments such as disasters, crimes, and human-angle stories.
- Field-producing opportunities.
- Travel assignments for large breaking news events are possible. (Note: You could spend long periods of time in the elements-i.e., extreme heat/cold, rain, etc.)
- Conduct Interviews for News and Digital.
- You should have a front-row seat as history unfolds before your eyes.
- Serve as in house analyst as the need arises.
Person Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or related field preferred.
- Social media savvy.
- 5 years producing with both field
- Professional phone manners.
- Strong code of ethics.
- Positive attitude.
- Outstanding news judgment, critical and strategic thinking, and an ability to be persistent yet diplomatic are critical for the position.
- Must be able to work an extended schedule as the news cycle a
- Detail oriented.

Job Title: Senior Digital Content Producer

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the production of digital media including videos, website development, online advertising, and email marketing.
- Take briefs from teams and execute accurate and engaging productions
- Ensure all teams are updated on the delivery of digital campaigns.
- Create concepts and designs for new digital projects.
- Coordinate with project directors to guarantee the workflow, documentation, and design standards are being upheld.
- Prepare accurate status reports.
- Identify any issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Direct a team of developers, designers, and strategists to ensure that the final product is consistent with the company’s vision.
- Provide cost estimates and quotations and monitor budgets.

- Evaluate and implement improvements on digital strategy.

Person Specification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Advertising, Marketing, Communication Science or equivalent.
- Minimum five years experience working in marketing/content at a digital, creative, or advertising agency at a brand, or in a digital journalism or editorial role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Firm grasp of emerging digital tools.
- Thorough understanding of digital touch points.
- Examples of web production work they’re especially proud of Razor-sharp editing skills and a passion for storytelling
- Resourcefulness, attention to detail, and comfort offering solutions and clarity amid ambiguity
- The drive to see projects through from concept to execution and analysis
- A deep understanding of the marketing, media, and digital advertising landscape; previous B2B experience a major plus.

- A proficiency working within Content Management Systems is a must Outstanding communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills; team-first mentality

- Client engagement and Management
- Collaborating with other departments within the Organization
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales goals.
- Liaising with Media Agencies to procure campaigns for the television station
- Market rate cards for all regions and ensure each market applies them.
- Identify strategic partners that will create awareness, help build the News Central brand, close the deals and reduce operational expenses for the company through barter or discounted arrangements.
- Search for advertising or sponsorship opportunities for the station and ensure that the brand fits with listeners or the style of different shows.
- Day-to-day contact via phone and email with key agency contacts.
- Weekly WIP meetings with crucial agency contacts.
