Job Title: Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Manager

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Responsibilities
The position we are offering involves the following main responsibilities:
QA/QC Activity:

• Manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance to codes, standards, regulations, equipment specifications, and QMS requirement;
• Improve quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization;
• Manage the development and implementation of the QMS for planning, fabrication, inspection, documentation, and operations activities including:
• Plan duties within the QA/QC staff and related work schedules;
• Establish service standards for end users (internal department or external customer);
• Identify and develop QA/QC personnel certification requirements and continuing education/training needs;
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction of all QA/QC personnel;
• Take full responsibility for hold-point releases once all QMS functions have been completed and the equipment is ready to go into the next work stage.
• Develop and implement risk-based inspection (RBI) activities and processes;
• Manage plant integrity through a failure analysis reporting system and following up on recommendations;
• Oversee supervision of all visual inspections and NDE, including 3rd party subcontractors;
• Manage inspection, NDE, and testing plans for new construction, repair work, and alterations;
• Identify and develop solutions to correct inspection function deficiencies;
• Manage construction processes, plant equipment, inspection and NDE personnel certification and QMS internal audits.

Welding Activity:

• manage all welding procedures and qualifications and testing;
• analyse welding requirements for specific projects ensuring the any already approved in house procedures are acceptable and generate new procedures specific to project requirements and needs;
• responsible for the coordination of multiple projects and manage external test laboratories : classify societies and notify bodies with regard to welding procedures their approvals and testing;
• provide technical support with industry standards and specifications such as ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, AWS, BS EN, plus any other relevant standards which may be required;
• manage and control of all materials and consumables for welder testing and procedures;
• coordinate failure analyses and root cause analysis on welding related issues if required;
• set up and control and maintenance of a welder data base.

Profile Wanted

• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• You are recognised for your ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing through memos and engineering reports.
• Professional English is mandatory for the position.

Job Title: Shutdown Preparation Lead

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Description

• The Shutdown Preparation Lead will support a major shutdown campaign on a FPSO.
• He/she will be responsible for leading and coordinating all preparation activities required to ensure the safe and efficient execution of the offshore FFSD (Field Facility Shutdown).
• This role requires strong leadership capabilities, extensive shutdown/turnaround experience, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams in a complex offshore environment.

Responsibilities
The position we are offering involves the following main responsibilities :

• Lead and coordinate all preparation activities for the offshore FFSD campaign ;
• Manage and supervise a multidisciplinary team of preparators, including: Mechanical Static Equipment (Pressure Vessels, Piping, Valves), Structural discipline, Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I), Lifting operations, Materials and logistics coordination ;
• Compile, review, validate, and approve job packs and job cards ;
• Review and ensure the quality and completeness of technical documentation, including: Isometric drawings, Method Statements, Spading Plans, Isolation Plans, Lifting Plans, Job Risk Assessments (JRA) Conduct regular offshore site visits to monitor progress, resolve preparation issues, and ensure alignment between stakeholders ;
• Support shutdown planning activities, including work sequencing, resource allocation, and execution strategies ;
• Coordinate interfaces between engineering, operations, maintenance, contractors, and planning teams ;
• Ensure compliance with company HSE requirements and industry best practices throughout the preparation phase.

Required Profile

• You have at least 5 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas process industry, with a proven experience in major shutdowns, turnarounds, or maintenance campaigns within offshore facilities, FPSOs, refineries, or petrochemical plants.
• You have a strong understanding of mechanical static equipment, piping systems, isolation processes, lifting operations, and E&I activities.
• You have demonstrated leadership and team coordination skills in a multicultural environment.
• You have excellent organizational, planning, and communication abilities.
• You are proficient in: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint.
• You are fluent in English (both written and spoken).
