Job Title: Content Creator / Social Media Manager
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- We are seeking a creative, proactive, and results-driven Content creator and Social Media Manager to manage and grow the online presence of our gadget and electronics brand.
- The role will focus on promoting gadgets, accessories, new arrivals, product features, promotions, and brand campaigns while driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales through effective digital marketing and storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
Content & Brand Management:
- Develop and manage a social media content calendar focused on gadgets, product launches, promotions, and customer education.
- Create engaging content including product photos, videos, reels, unboxing clips, demos, and captions.
- Showcase product features, benefits, usage tips, and comparisons to educate customers.
- Ensure consistent brand tone, visual identity, and messaging across all platforms.
Community Engagement;
- Manage daily engagement by responding promptly and professionally to comments, messages, and inquiries.
- Build and grow an active online community around the brand.
- Handling customer inquiries and redirect sales leads to the appropriate team where necessary.
Campaigns & Growth;
- Promote sales campaigns, discounts, flash sales, and special offers.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align social media activities with business goals.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and audience preferences.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Track and analyze social media performance (engagement, reach, leads, conversions).
- Prepare periodic performance reports with insights and recommendations.
- Optimize content and campaigns based on data and platform insights.
Advertising & Compliance:
- Manage social media ads including targeting, budgeting, and performance tracking.
- Ensure content complies with copyright, privacy, and industry regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, preferably in gadgets, electronics, retail, or tech-related businesses.
- Strong content creation, copywriting, and storytelling skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Familiarity with basic design and video tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite, etc.).
- Experience using analytics tools such as Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or Buffer.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and work independently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

- Develop and implement strategic business development and sales plans to achieve revenue, growth, and market share targets.

- Trade and manage mandates/jobbing requests from clients, ensuring timely execution and delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, partners, and institutional clients.
- Negotiate and close high-value deals, contracts, and strategic partnerships.
Market Intelligence & Product Alignment:
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design, position, and promote consumer electronics and gadget products that meet market demand.
- Analyze sales performance, customer feedback, and market data to refine sales strategies and improve outcomes.
Client Management & Engagement:
- Lead client onboarding processes, including due diligence, documentation, and relationship setup.
- Maintain regular engagement with clients to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop campaigns that attract, convert, and retain clients.
Collaboration & Leadership:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless sales support, order fulfillment, and after-sales service.
- Lead and support business development initiatives across teams to ensure effective execution.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to junior team members where applicable.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Business Development, Sales, or Marketing within the Consumer Electronics, Telecoms, or Gadget industries.
- Proven track record of sales conversions and revenue growth.
- Hands-on professional with strong management experience and an existing sales network.
- Solid understanding of the Nigerian phone and gadget market, customer behavior, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Must be based in Lagos.
