They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Hydrotest and Pigging Supervisor

Locations: Akwa Ibom, Delta, Imo and Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Construction Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible to ensure the construction of the systems is completed in accordance with prescribed information prior to pneumatic and hydrostatic pressure tests being carried.
• Prepare technical report, lists of outstanding items on a punch list submits it for construction to carry out the required test.
• Monitors the hydro testing (hydrostatic and pneumatic) and handle reports on the completion of tests and to supervise line cleaning after hydro test.
• Responsible for the examination of systems to ensure completeness, punch lists preparation, and readiness for hydro tests activities.
• Interfaces with equipment, piping, instrumentation, electrical inspectors, civil/structural inspectors, field engineer and other field superintendent before proceeding for hydro tests of systems.
• Interfaces with the clients Quality Assurance representative for his presence at the test.
• Reviews the documentation relevant to the systems and ensures the systems are constructed in accordance with the prescribed information drawings, specifications and vendor information.
• Coordinates with Project Manager and supervise the preparation of test activity to ensure all deficiencies are identified and punch lists are prepared.
• When the systems are to be tested, ensures the systems limits are identified, that necessary test equipment sin place and reviews completion of punch list items to ensure hydro tests may proceed.
• Coordinates and monitors the hydro tests and reports on the completion of hydro tests.
• Interfaces with the Discipline Planning Teams to understand the construction schedule. Assesses the impact of inefficiencies on the successful completion of planned activities and adjust the plan as required.
• Responsible to understand the threshold values and margin limits for testing.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Years of Experience in this role or a similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Applications is added advantage.
• Good analytical skills and the ability to think critically.
• Good public speaking skills.

Job Title: Process Safety Coordinator

Location: Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom

Key Responsibilties

• Develop, implement, and manage process safety programs to prevent and mitigate risks associated with industrial operations.
• Ensure that the Process Safety Management (PSM) system is compliant with regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA PSM, EPA RMP).
• Lead and conduct regular Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), including HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) studies, risk assessments, and other safety analyses.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify best practices and implement the same.
• Guide management in decision making by sharing requirements of codes and standards.
• Implement learning’s from various internal and external accidents at sites.
• Actively drive Management Review process, in conjunction with the Senior Management & site Safety team.
• Develop and implement the systems so that process safety requirements are addressed in different stages ofplant (i.e. design, projects, commissioning and operations).
• Develop Process Safety information for Chemicals and Processes.
• Checking effectiveness of controls deployed through various risk assessments studies like HAZOP, QRA and other process safety risk assessment methods.
• Evaluate Management of change by application of suitable risk assessment method
• Streamline safety requirements and systems in new projects
• Awareness of various legal requirements
• Monitor systemic controls deployed for minimizing process safety risk and enhance PSM of plant
• Interact with Group HSEF Heads on the performance improvement plans and monthly, quarterly and yearly Status.
• Monitor and prepare score cards for leading and lagging HSEF Indicators.
• Good knowledge in OD characteristics.
• Awareness on Responsible Care, proficient in implementation of IMS. Good understanding on Centre for Chemical Process Safety (CCPS) guidelines.
• Experience on risk assessments of high consequence events
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Exposure to conducting safety audits and ensure compliances
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholder and foster good relations.
• Ability to drive results, drive change, business understanding and teamwork.
• Good communication & presentation skills; ability to liaise with external agencies.
• Well versed with MS office.
• In-depth understanding and knowledge of HSEF requirements during Project and Operation phases.
• Familiar with JSA/HAZOP/EIA.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical / Mechanical with Advanced / Post Diploma in Industrial Safety is a must, NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA would be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring that project heavy equipment are in safe operating condition by conducting routine maintenance and scheduling needed repairs.
• To carry out all types of repairs (emergency/running) and daily/periodic preventive maintenance of various make & types of heavy-duty equipment, utilities, plants/vehicles by manufacturer’s guidance/recommendation and safe operating procedures to ensure optimum utilization and availability.
• To ensure proper housekeeping during and after completion of jobs.
• To give adequate on-the-job training to junior technician/helpers in order to develop them professionally.
• To always ensure safety in using material handling equipment, tools etc.
• Carry out performance appraisal and practical assessment of junior technicians/helpers/intending staff for promotion and employment, respectively.
• To use all the PPE as recommended by the Safety Policy of the company and report to the authorities concerned regarding the accidents and near miss incident.
• To suggest to the management methods of improvements of maintenance practices.
• To ensure consistent availability of HEMM for operation without interruption.
• To diagnose the problem on diesel engine, hydraulic & transmission system and to initiate remedial actions appropriately.
• To assist the supervisor/engineer for the spare parts planning.
• Proper handling of tools provided them and to ensure right usage. Also responsible for getting the right tools for jobs at hand.
• Should have a valid Driving License.
• Compliance with ISO regulations.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical / Mechanical equipment Maintenance/ Automobile.
• Years of Experience in Mechanical Maintenance of Heavy Equipment
