Job Title: Brand Manager

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Part-time

Responsibilities

  • Analyze brand positioning and consumer insights.
  • Shape and communicate our vision and mission.
  • Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies.
  • Manage a team of marketing people working on brand initiatives.
  • Lead creative development to motivate the target audience to “take action.”
  • Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and sales estimates.
  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs
  • Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities.
  • Oversee new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities.
  • Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions.
  • Devise innovative growth strategies.
  • Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices, and tactics.
  • Should have exposure designing scheme (Trade & retailers) and trade marketing exposure in shop, POS design and other related elements.
  • Experience in digital marketing and campaign management.

Requirements and Skills

  • Degree/MBA/PGDM in marketing or a related field
  • 6 – 12 years work experience.
  • Proven working experience as Brand Manager or Associate Brand Manager
  • Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to sales
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns
  • Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
  • Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind
  • Data-driven thinking and an affinity for numbers
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices

Job Description

  • We are looking to employ a driven and experienced Area Sales Manager to increase sales within an assigned geographical area and guide a team of Field Sales Executives.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and increasing sales of your company’s products
  • Good experience in Sell-in and Sell-out
  • Reaching the targets and goals set for your area
  • Establishing, maintaining and expanding your customer base
  • Servicing the needs of your existing customers
  • Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market
  • Setting sales targets for individual reps and your team as a whole

Requirements

  • B.Sc., HND or MBA in Marketing, Communications, Business Management, or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years related experience
  • Proven sales experience; sector-specific sales experience is preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales quotas.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent management, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding negotiation and consultative sales skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Experience in a reputable FMCG is required
  • Experience in Van sales and sales promoters’ management
  • Sales experience in Lagos State is required.

Job Description / Responsibilities

  • Procurement of Garri as per the Quality required from the designated area
  • Onboard small scale Garri processors for supplies
  • Train and develop Processors who understand quality requirement of the Garri that is needed
  • Maintain good relationship with the processors and gain their trust and loyalty
  • Implement the Supplier support policies that the Company plans to implement
  • Achieve set targets of Quantity, Quality and Price in the Procurement of Garri
  • Map the Major Garri markets in the Area and have a price collection mechanism implemented

Qualifications and Experience

  • HND or Higher qualification (B.Sc)
  • Experience in Procurement of any Agricultural Produce, Experience in Garri Sourcing and added advantage
  • Work Experience in Organised FMCG / Agro Produce Trading Companies preferred
  • Have a brief understanding of Garri production and factors affecting the quality of Garri
  • Willingness to work with local farming communities in Rural and remote areas
  • Basic knowledge of computers preferred.
