Job Title: Accounts Assistant – Golden Pasta – FZE

Location: Nigeria

Purpose of the Job

  • To assist the Assistant Accountant by ensuring accuracy of Suppliers Invoices and their prompt settlement.
  • Accuracy of related companies’ transactions and account balances for the purpose of reporting the true and fair position of the company’s financials.

The Job

  • Monitor timely and accurate posting of all GRVs (raw, packaging & Spares) to ensure adequate inventory balance
  • Processing of ad-hoc staff payment (i.e. erectors, visiting technicians etc.)-weekly.
  • Preparation of Provisions for Accrued Expenses for the month
  • Processing Staff I.O.U.  retirement
  • Processing of all suppliers and services providers’ invoices, and follow up with payables Apapa on prompt payment to supplier
  • Participate in periodic and year-end stock count exercise and preparation of variance report.
  • Updating of Capital expenditure to aid management decisions.
  • Reconciliation of bank account
  • Monthly preparation OPEX CAPEX & Maintenance report.

Qualifications

  • 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings.
  • OND in Accountancy or its equivalent or related discipline.

Experience:

  • 2 Years minimum experience in a similar role.

The Person Must:

  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have Problem-solving skills to deal with parts inventory issues.
  • Have analytical skills to help manage the inventory, pricing and estimates.
  • Have great organizational and time management abilities.
