Job Title: Maintenance Manager – Mechanical

Job Description

  • Manage the effective maintenance of all the machines in the mills to ensure that they are performing efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and organize preventive maintenance of the relevant machines to ensure maintenance schedules are followed.
  • Work on machine pro-plant generated by pro-plan system.
  • Ensure reduction of downtime to the barest minimum to prevent loss due to machine downtime.
  • Plan and order spare parts and tools for maintenance work to avoid delay due to material availability.
  • Document maintenance records for analysis and future reference.
  • Technical Training and development of technical subordinates to improve performance.
  • Control usage of materials and tools for optimal efficiency of machines.
  • Vet and recommend contract awards for 3rd party maintenance services to ensure compliance to specification.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. or HND in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ cognate experience in similar role.

The Person Must:

  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance management processes, corrosion prevention techniques, pneumatics, and conveyor systems.
  • Analytical skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving maintenance issues.
  • Efficient planning and execution of maintenance schedules.

Job Title: National Sales Manager – RS / Innovation

Location: Nigeria

Purpose

  • To grow FMN new product lines profitably and penetrate RS/Innovation categories in line with our sales growth and profitability objectives.

The Job

  • Develop and implement sales strategy and growth plan for new product lines (Garri, Oil & Fats, Consumer Sugar, etc).
  • Achieve sales volume targets and continuously grow the RLMC of the new product lines.

  • Analyze and evaluate sales volumes report across different regions to ensure effective distribution and a balanced portfolio of products across all regions and markets.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to gather market intelligence report to ascertain the quality of products vis-à-vis customers demand and to resolve challenges faced by customers in the market.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field (MBA or relevant postgraduate degree will be an added advantage).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 – 12 years’ progressive experience in Sales and Marketing within the FMCG industry.

Job Title: Checker – Internal Control

Job Purpose

  • To ensure that internal control processes are effectively monitored to minimize losses/ wastages.

Responsiblities

  •  Physical verification of local supplies at stores/offices and treatment of vendors’ waybills in line with Internal Control procedures.
  • Witness diesel receipts and daily diesel dipping and issuing to generators, trucks, tankers, cranes, Hiab and forklifts, etc. & also transfer from diesel tank to Refinery and Power Plant.
  • Witness Hexane receipts and daily Hexane dipping and maintain an accurate record
  • Witness raw materials receipt, transfer, evacuation, and loading of finished goods and maintain an accurate record
  • Document supply items on the store monitoring register.
  • Validation of shipping/loading documents on Axapta at exit gates in all operational locations.
  • In the case of bagged & bulk products, reconcile gate pass quantity, weighbridge docket net weight, and invoiced quantity for correctness.
  • Check the net weight of loaded trucks to ensure they are within the approved tolerance range.
  • Maintain load-out report in hard and soft copies.
  • Perform a physical count of returned goods and record the same in a register.
  • Check scrap load-out in the operational location.
  • Observe monthly inventory count.

Qualifications / Experience

  • 5 O-level Credits including English & Mathematics in not more than two sittings.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ cognate experience.

The person must have:

  • Have good communication skills (oral and written).
  • Have attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
  • Be physically fit to handle lifting, arranging, and stock movement.
  • Have basic computer knowledge (MS Excel or inventory software is an advantage).
