The company’s focus is to provide healthy oil as a cooking medium to its customers. The company is Nigeria’s trusted name for supply of refined palm oil, palm kernel oil, olein, soybean Oil, stearin, soybean meal, soy lecithin, and palm kernel de-oiled cake. Our oils are used as healthy cooking medium. Soybean meal and palm kernel de-oiled cake are used in premier poultry / animal feed.
The company’s products have been duly certified by the appropriate regulatory agencies Such as the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON) and National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency (NESREA). Golden Oil has modern processing technology and plants, which can be compared to worldwide standards. The company has highly trained seasoned oil experts, who’s commitment is to delivering healthy oil to Nigerian consumers.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Community Liason Officer
Location: Owo, Ondo
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Communication: Act as a central point of contact for all communication between community, teams, or organizations. Ensure that information is accurately shared and understood by all parties involved.
- Coordinate Collaboration: Foster collaboration between various stakeholders by organizing meetings, conferences, or workshops. Facilitate discussions, brainstorming sessions, or problem-solving meetings to encourage effective teamwork and achieve common goals.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Develop a deep understanding of their needs, expectations, and concerns. Act as their advocate and representative to ensure their interests are represented and addressed.
- Conflict Resolution: Identify and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise between different parties. Mediate conversations, negotiate compromises, and find mutually beneficial solutions. Foster a positive and harmonious working environment.
- Information Management: Manage the flow of information between different parties. Keep all stakeholders informed about relevant updates, changes, or decisions. Ensure that all necessary documentation is properly organized and accessible.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans by providing valuable insights and recommendations based on your understanding of stakeholder needs and interests.
- Stay Updated: Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices. Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. Share relevant knowledge and insights with stakeholders to enhance their understanding and decision-making processes.
Requirements
- M.Sc / B.Sc Degree in relevant field.
- 8+ years experiences as a liaison personnel preferable in a plantation
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal (English & Yoruba) & Excellent interpersonal skills and Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of project management principles and practices
- Familiarity with government regulations and policies
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and problem-solve effectively

Job Summary
- We are looking for a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, food safety, and team leadership.
- You will ensure that production processes run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the plant to ensure production targets are met.
- Manage a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Monitor and maintain the efficiency of production processes, making adjustments to improve productivity and reduce downtime.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and company quality control protocols.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and collaborate with maintenance teams to resolve any technical issues.
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.
- Conduct regular safety audits and ensure that health and safety standards are followed by all staff.
- Coordinate with other departments, including quality control, weighbridge and procurement, to ensure smooth production flow.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Engineering, Production Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with Buhler machines is an added advantage
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a supervisory role within the food processing or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, and GMP.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
