Job Summary

  • HRLeverage Africa is currently recruiting for the position of Facility Supervisor on behalf of our client in the freight forwarding and logistics industry.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the effective maintenance, safety, and functionality of the company’s facilities.
  • He will ensure that all building systems, assets, and infrastructure operate efficiently, while providing a clean, safe, and conducive working environment for staff and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily facility operations and maintenance activities.
  • Oversee repairs, servicing, and routine inspections of company buildings, equipment, and utilities.
  • Manage and coordinate third-party vendors, contractors, and service providers.
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and cost.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Monitor facility budgets and recommend cost-effective maintenance solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain facility management reports and documentation.
  • Support logistics operations by ensuring all facilities are in optimal condition for business continuity.
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend modern facility management solutions.

Key Requirements

  • HND qualification / B.Sc Degree in Real Estate Management, Estate Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in facility or property management, preferably within logistics, manufacturing, or industrial settings.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and facility/property management software.
  • Ability to think creatively and implement modern facility management practices.
  • Male candidate preferred (for gender balance).

Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 Gross monthly (Negotiable).

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
