Job Title: Risk & Compliance Officer

Job Identification: 412
Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full Time

Role Accountabilities

  • Assess the adequacy of existing technical and non-technical controls to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
  • Update Risk Register and Monitor Key Risk Indicators.
  • Identify control gaps and recommend compensating controls while also supporting the process owners in the development and implementation.
  • Assist in coordinating day-to-day performance and quality monitoring exercises, implementing effective, proactive, quality processes at the operating level that will positively impact quality and enhance stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Review the existence and operating effectiveness of compliance controls.
  • Document and Update Standard Operating Procedures across board.
  • Support with activities to create company-wide awareness of regulatory and statutory requirements and the importance of complying with these requirements.
  • Produce high-quality reports and analysis with insights on compliance monitoring activities, outcomes and trends.

Requirements

  • BSc Degree in any numerate course from an accredited University.
  • Professional qualification/Certifications in one or more of ICAN, ACCA, CFA, CMA etc. is an added advantage.
  • 2 – 3 years’ experience in Risk Management, internal controls, compliance and audit.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in Data processing, Data Analytics/analysis, Compliance management, Quality assurance etc.
  • Minimum of 2 years of combined IT experience with a broad range of exposure to IT Governance, internal audit, compliance and systems analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of internal controls.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment.
  • Strong and effective business communication (verbal and writing skills).
  • Ability to plan and execute numerous complex projects while managing tight deadlines and challenging circumstances.
  • Strong analytical skills.

Job Title: Finance Manager

Job Identification: 397
Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full Time

Role Accountabilities

  • Prepare Monthly/Quarterly Financials and Management Reports.
  • Manage the Annual Audit Cycle to ensure timely delivery of annual financial statements (separate and consolidated).
  • Develop, Implement and Monitor Appropriate Financial Systems, procedures and internal controls to support the efficient and effective operation of the Finance Unit.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee Monthly and Annual Tax Returns and Filing (WHT, CGT, CIT and EDT).
  • Periodically review the organization’s financial reports and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Reporting to management and stakeholders. Also, providing advice on how the company and future business decisions might be impacted.
  • Reviewing, monitoring and managing budgets.
  • Support project analysis, validation of plans and ad -hoc requests.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Finance/Accounting Economics or Social Science discipline.
  • Minimum 6-8 years relevant work experience within a similar role.
  • Professional Accounting Certification (ACCA) is compulsory.
  • Master’s degree/MBA will be an added advantage.
  • Good understanding and application of International Financial Reporting Standards.

  • Up-to-date knowledge of Key financial reporting standards.
  • Comprehensive Knowledge and Application of Nigerian Tax Laws.
  • Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong financial planning, organizational, and analytical skills.

  • Excellent Managerial Skill
  • Problem Solving and Decision Making
  • A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
  • Ability to stick to time constraints
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong relationships with external parties.

Job Title: Terminal Maintenance Officer

Job Identification: 411
Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full Time

Role Accountabilities

  • Ensure daily, weekly and monthly checks on all depot equipment to ensure smooth running of operations.
  • Ensure all depot equipment is working optimally.
  • Maintain equipment service records.
  • Ensure availability of equipment spare parts.
  • Ensure compliance with company HSE policy in the execution of all maintenance activities.
  • Ensure timely and precise reports on all maintenance activities to the line manager.
  • Plan and prioritize depot maintenance to ensure no disruption/downtime to loading and discharging activities.
  • Ensure the cost of maintenance is within the approved budget.
  • Provide support during quality audits from regulatory bodies.
  • Prompt response to reports on faults of equipment and tools.
  • Effective negotiation to reduce the cost of equipment maintenance.
  • Other assigned responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant fields
  • Relevant professional training and certification is highly desirable.
  • At least 2 years’ work experience in a similar role.
  • Experienced in installation, servicing and maintenance of Power generators and valves.
  • Good working knowledge of process line fittings installation, and maintenance.
  • Good working knowledge of Pumps and Motors.
  • Good working knowledge of project management.
  • Good working experience in engine assembly in accordance with engineering drawings.
  • Good working experience in HSE management.
  • Good working knowledge of maintenance management.
  • Diesel Generator installations and maintenance.
  • AutoCAD (for mechanical Designs and Drafting).
  • Experience in piping pipeline and process control.
