Job Title: Data Engineer

Location: Nigeria

Job Summary

  • The Data Engineer will be responsible for building and optimizing the data pipeline architecture, data flow, and data collection for Hydrogen.
  • The Data Engineer will support the technology, product, sales, marketing, and leadership teams of Hydrogen with insights gained from data analysis.
  • The Data Engineer is responsible for using data sets to find opportunities for product and process optimization and using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action.

Requirements

  • Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software/Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience with data warehousing, SQL, and big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Scala, or HDInsight.
  • Analytical Expertise: Proven ability to manipulate, process, and derive insights from large and complex datasets using business intelligence and analytical tools such as Tableau, SAS, and SQL.
  • Statistical & Machine Learning Competence: Strong understanding of advanced statistical methods and machine learning techniques, including regression analysis, clustering, and neural networks.
  • Professional Attributes: Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, and a passion for contributing to HYDROGEN’s vision of becoming a world-class financial supermarket.

Job Title: Head of DevOps

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

  • We are seeking a highly experienced Head of DevOps to lead our cloud and DevOps strategy in a fast-paced fintech environment specializing in POS, Payment Gateway, Instant Payments, Cards, Switching, DCS, APIs Integration, and other payment solutions.
  • This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices on the Azure platform to ensure high availability, scalability, security, and efficiency in our digital payment services

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the cloud and DevOps strategy in alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead the DevOps team in designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments
  • Manage cloud cost optimization and resource utilization on Azure.
  • Implement containerization technologies and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Azure Kubernetes Service – AKS).
  • Ensure compliance with PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and other financial security standards.
  • Drive DevSecOps adoption to embed security into all DevOps processes.
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices using Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, or Pulumi.

Key Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.
  • Experience leading teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernets,Terraform, Ansible and CI/CD tools
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code ( Terraform, ARM Templates, Pulumi, Ansible).
  • Experience in payment systems, financial services, or fintech is highly preferred.

  • Azure DevOps for Version Control System (VCS) and CI/CD pipelines building.
  • Argo CD/UI for deployments.
  • Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  • Docker for containerization.
  • Microsoft Azure Services/Native Tools.
  • Kafka (Confluent Kafka).
  • Python and Bash scripting.
  • Git Technologies.
  • Grafana, Loki, and Prometheus for Monitoring.

Job Title: Head, Internal Audit

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Head of Internal Audit is responsible for providing independent assurance on the effectiveness of the company’s internal controls, governance, ensures adherence to regulatory expectations, and promotes a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • The Head, Internal Control report functionally to the Board Audit Committee and administratively to the CEO.

Key Requirements

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CPA
  • A minimum of 8 – 10 years of progressive experience across internal, IT, financial, or compliance audit, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
  • Technical Competency: expertise in IT Audit, Financial and Operations Audit, and Compliance Audit within the digital payments and financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of CBN regulations, AML/CFT requirements, NDPR, PCI-DSS, risk management frameworks (COSO, ISO 27001, NIST), and internal control best practices.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Audit: Ensure alignment with all relevant regulatory requirements including CBN guidelines, AML/CFT regulations, Consumer Protection frameworks, NDPR, PCI-DSS, and payment industry standards.
  • Risk Assessment and Internal Controls: Collaborate with the Risk department to continuously identify and assess emerging risks across IT, financial, and operational domains
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing internal audit team with strong capabilities in IT audit, financial and operations audit, and compliance audit.
  • Provide strategic guidance to the executive team on audit insights, technology risks, compliance gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Evaluate the integrity and resilience of Hydrogen’s core payment systems, digital platforms, POS infrastructure, and integrations with third-party processors.
