Mission

• Lead the project technical team to deliver consumer and enterprise solutions to meet MTNN business requirements and needs.
• Working with the engineering and delivery teams to design and integrate IT/IS solutions in adherence to architecture and design specifications.

Description

• Develop designs that support the functional requirements of business application projects and include the conceptual, high-level, and detailed design specifications for the build, implementation, and support of these business solutions.
• Code applications in accordance with good security coding practices to ensure the application is free of the most common coding vulnerabilities.
• Create and execute/coordinate technical test plans for application changes, new deployments, and upgrades.
• Participate in transitions of the application or technical architecture components to the testers.
• Fix any defects and performance problems discovered in testing.
• Effectively work with other dependent teams such as vendors, service management, security team, operations teams, and architecture and engineering teams.
• Effective access controls to supported systems.
• Broad knowledge of the business processes within the telecommunications sector.
• Specialized knowledge of IT support procedures, application construction, hardware technologies, systems integration, and development techniques.
• Software Delivery Methodologies, especially Waterfall and Scrum

Requirements
Educational Qualification:

• A First Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
• Fluent in English

Experience:

• 3–7 years’ experience, which includes:
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an area of specialization, with experience in supervising others
  • Experience working in a medium organization.

Description

• Identify, assess, and evaluate risk to enable the execution of the enterprise risk management strategy.
• Collect information and review documentation to ensure that risk scenarios are identified and evaluated.
• Identify legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements and organizational policies and standards related to information systems to determine their potential impact on business objectives.
• Identify potential threats and vulnerabilities for business processes, associated data, and supporting capabilities to assist in the evaluation of enterprise risk.
• Create and maintain a risk register to ensure that all identified risk factors are accounted for.
• Assemble risk scenarios to estimate the likelihood and impact of significant events on the organization.
• Analyze risk scenarios to determine their impact on business objectives.
• Develop an information security strategy aligned with business goals and objectives and ensure alignment of the information security strategy with corporate governance.

Educational Qualification

• First Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology / Systems, or a related field.
• A Master’s Degree in a related field will be an added advantage.
• CISA, CGEIT, CISM, CRISC, COBIT, and ISO 31000
• Fluent in English

Experience:

• 6–13 years’ experience, which includes:
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an area of specialization, with experience in supervising or managing others
  • Experience working in a medium- to large organization
  • Interpretation and application of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
  • Advanced knowledge of risk assessment design and delivery

Description

• Planning and executing of software engineering, data engineering, requirement engineering, and artificial intelligence strategies.
• Manage the planning processes geared towards designing and solutioning of all software, data, requirement engineering, and artificial intelligence development within MTN IT in line with the business and technology roadmaps.
• Define and maintain software, data, requirement engineering, and artificial intelligence delivery measurement and optimization parameters for the engineering team for all platforms.
• Manage software, data, requirement, and artificial intelligence design activities for efficient IT capabilities to support the subscribers and revenue growth for all lines of business within MTNN.
• Implement optimal, future-proof, cloud-native solutions to deliver scalable platforms to internal and external customers of MTNN.
• Direct the evolution of the ecosystem of software, data, requirement engineering, and artificial intelligence practices.
• Review and approve technical specifications and design documents for new products and services.
• Identify trends and patterns pertaining to customer requests and needs and filter this information through to relevant business areas to continually improve all aspects of the software, data, requirement engineering, and artificial intelligence practices.
• Leverage your software engineering skills and experience to design, develop, integrate, and implement products and services.
• Liaise with vendors on new market releases and technology upgrade paths to ensure quick deployment of new and innovative products and services.
• Liaise with vendors and other stakeholders to keep abreast of new technologies and apply the same in line with MTNN strategic objectives.

  • Technical experience in planning, design and working with Cloud Services, APIs, AI and software development.
  • Vast experience in new products and services development and a good understanding of Product Development Life Cycle
  • Experience and knowledge working in an Agile Scrum software delivery environment.
  • Experience in building solutions using technology like C# .Net Core, Angular, React, Kafka, Rabbit MQ, Docker, etc.
  • Experience in building automated reviews and quality assurance checks into the SDLC.
