  • Report immediately of any broken-down equipment outside any of our bases of project camp/site to logistics supervisor and follow up in liaison with logistics officer to ensure the vehicle is towed to maintenance workshop or send Maintenance team for recovery.

Requirements

  • SSCE / OND

Job Details

  • Reporting to the Oilserv Engineering Manager, the Instrumentation & Control Engineering Design Coordinator shall be responsible for managing all Instrumentation & Control engineering design activities across all Oilserv projects with engineering design scope.
  • Maintain regular/continuous interface and working collaboration with the Instrumentation & Control design teams of any design engineering subcontractor on all projects to provide technical guidance, inputs and resolve issues/concerns towards the smooth completion of the design & construction scope of the project.
  • Champion and drive the delivery of the Instrumentation & Control scope of any Oilserv project within schedule, budget and quality expectations.
  • Review and comment on all key Instrumentation & Control deliverables from the design engineering subcontractor project before they are issued to the client.
  • Study and interpret relevant design drawings, specifications/datasheets, calculation notes, engineering standards and codes as they apply to the design. He/she must also be well grounded to understand the use of Instrumentation & Control modelling softwares and PDMS as a minimum as well as AUTOCAD.
  • Performs independent calculations and studies to validate subcontractor calculation results, utilizing knowledge of engineering codes and standards as required.
  • Participate in regular project technical meetings with (1) client/client rep. (2) engineering subcontractor team members on project technical issues.
  • Build, maintain and manage all client rep. interface on Instrumentation & Control discipline issues for any Oilserv project.
  • Pay regular site visits to the different Oilserv project sites to resolve, support and monitor ongoing Instrumentation & Control installation activities.
  • Support the Oilserv procurement department processes with required and relevant technical assistance to actively sustain the procurement process for project materials for any project.
  • Conduct Vendor/Suppliers/OEM document review and internal approval on all project materials.
  • Represent Oilserv in any other technical and business capacity as may arise in any Oilserv project.

Requirements

  • A minimum of B.Eng / Tech in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of working experience in Electrical/Electronics design engineering and procurement support.
  •  COREN registration is a major prerequisite for this role.

  • Represent the organization and enhance relationships in dealings with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure all agreements are implemented.

  • Prepare, develop, and maintain up-to-date, high-quality procedures, documents, and the method of statement given to the client or main contractor.
  • Prepare PQR (Procedure Qualification for WPS), qualified welders, and prepare welder qualifications and welder ID.
  • Review of associated quality control documentation to ensure that equipment and materials are manufactured in accordance with applicable codes, client and project specifications, and standards.
  • Supervise the field inspection activities of manufacturing site construction, welding, NDT examinations, and pressure testing and prepare daily inspection reports.
  • Identify quality problems or areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
  • Maintain project material certification.
  • Preparation of weld and NDT maps.
  • Preparation of piping test packs
  • Prepare the final QA/QC dossier to submit to the client

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Engineering- Mechanical or related field.
  • A certificate in any of the following is compulsory AT – Acoustic Emission Testing, RT – Radiographic Testing, UT – Ultrasonic Testing, MT – Magnetic Testing, PT – Penetrant Testing, VT – Visual Testing, ET – Eddy Current Testing, LT – Leak Testing.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience working in the Oil and Gas Industry, and having strong knowledge of construction processes and procedures and good working knowledge of QA/QC implementation.
  • Experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar.
