Job Title: Supervisor – Budgetary Control and OPEX Analyst

Location: Nigeria
Job type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • To ensure accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting through effective cost centre management, robust accrual and provision processes, and proactive business partnership.
  • The role supports informed decision-making by providing detailed OPEX analysis, enforcing financial controls, and driving cost-saving initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Coordination of cost centre review process:

  • Agree cost centre review calendar with budget holders
  • Generate monthly pre-close reports and analysis
  • Conduct monthly cost centre reviews for all cost centres, providing adequate documentation.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of all OPEX accounts
  • Investigate and follow-up with responsible parties to resolve erroneous postings and raising necessary journals to correct them.
  • Ensure adequacy and completeness of all entries in the accounts with correct classification to location and cost center.
  • Report significant omissions in the account to management.
  • Ensure that all necessary depreciations, amortisations and accruals are accurately captured in the account for each period
  • Investigate and report OPEX variances
  • Run post-close reports and extended trial balance for management accounts.
  • Develop cost-saving initiatives for presentation to management, with subsequent implementation.

Ownership and reconciliation of all accruals and provision:

  • Consolidate all accrual and provision schedules
  • Validate all system-generated accruals
  • Maintain and update accrual and provisioning model
  • Reconcile provisioning model with system balances and management accounts

Business Partnership:

  • Monthly OPEX flash
  • Monthly detailed cost analysis by account
  • Accrual and provision model
  • Monthly extended trial balance
  • Ad-hoc analysis

Educational Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience on a similar role
  • B.SC Accounting
  • ACA or ACCA will be an added advantage

Knowledge:

  • MS Office Suite
  • Advanced Excel user
  • Business Intelligence (Additional advantage)
  • Relevant IFRS standards

Job Title: Officer – Engineering Technician (Electromechanical)

About the job

  • To ensure effective maintenance, optimal performance, and reliability of all electrical and mechanical components, machinery, and equipment within the factory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure an effective maintenance of all electrical and mechanical components of the factory machines.
  • Generate a daily report on all electrical and mechanical faults reported.
  • Carry out periodic & preventive maintenance on all electrical and mechanical panels and machines.
  • Ensure prompt attention to fault and as well as quick detection and correction of technical faults.
  • Repair and maintain all coding machines for flexibles and cartons.
  • Carry out repairs on all electronic and mechanical scales.
  • Ensure proper maintenance culture, safety of machineries and personnel, as well as good housekeeping.
  • Ensure that panels, tools & parts are well kept & managed at all times.
  • Ensure that the proper and standard operational procedures are strictly adhered to.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of machines, its accessories and other factory equipment with minimum downtime.
  • Installation of new machines and equipment.
  • Training of production operatives.
  • Carries out any assigned food safety jobs by the head of department.
  • Any other jobs assigned by Supervisor.

Education

  • Minimum of OND in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics
  • HND is an added advantage

Job Title: Group Rewards and Performance Manager 

Location: Nigeria

Objective

  • The Group Rewards and Performance Manager will be responsible for monitoring and driving the performance management and total rewards framework for the Group
  • The role will also oversee and manage third-party labor contractors to ensure optimal service delivery and alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
Reward:

  • Partner with the Head of Department (HOD) to define and implement Group’s pay philosophy and reward strategy to attract, retain, and motivate employees.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of all employee salaries and benefits each month.
  • Manage remuneration structures and conduct surveys to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Lead the annual and ad-hoc pay review processes, ensuring fairness, compliance, and alignment with company goals.
  • Collaborate with the HOD to monitor and maintain total employee cost within the approved budget.
  • Oversee remuneration surveys conducted by consultants and pay peer groups to benchmark Group’s pay structure and practices.
  • Communicate strategically and periodically on total cost of employment to employees, enhancing transparency and understanding of their value.

Performance Management:

  • Oversee and maintain Group’s performance management framework to ensure compliance, relevance, and alignment with long-term organizational objectives.
  • Manage the appraisal process, including periodic, mid-year, and year-end reviews.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers in conducting effective appraisal reviews and performance discussions.
  • Support the management of employees placed on Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) to drive improvement and accountability.

Third Party Management:

  • Oversee Group’s third-party labor suppliers, ensuring compliance with Group’s standards, policies, and contractual agreements.
  • Monitor and manage third-party headcount to ensure cost efficiency, service optimization, and compliance with approved budgets.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent; additional certification in Human Resources is an added advantage.
  • At least 5 years’ experience managing rewards and performance management frameworks in a recognized organization.
  • Proven track record of success in compensation, benefits, and performance management within a large, global, or multinational company.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
