Your Responsibilities
- Develop a clear vision for the Self care and Intimate Wellness categories at Sub-Saharan Africa level in line with regional and global strategic imperatives.
- Lead the development and implementation of the annual business plan, monitor performance and competitor activity and recommend adjustments to the marketing mix.
- Deliver a product development programme to generate consistent sales and profit growth
- Coach and develop the team into truly exceptional marketers
- Develop Communication plan for healthcare professionals and drive omnichannel strategy for healthcare professional engagement
- Align Coverage cycle and detailing Matrix for Medical Sales team
- Co-ordinate the development and maintenance of effective local Sales/Marketing interface to ensure effective execution of business plans
- Lead, where appropriate, the selection of local external Service Agencies and to develop and manage professional working relationships
- Ignite the market with innovative product launches and persuasive communications that resonate with consumers and shoppers alike.
- Seamlessly coordinate brand requirements with agency partners, ensuring smooth delivery of communication plans and digital strategies.
Requirements
The experience we’re looking for:
- First Degree in Pharmacy, Biological Sciences, or social Sciences. An MBA or second degree in a Business/Health related field is an added advantage
- 8-10 years of marketing experience, and must be able to demonstrate outstanding marketing skills developed within the Pharma/FMCG environment
- Leadership: people management and development
- Strategic Planning and Monitoring ability: leads in the development of portfolio strategy. Proactively collect and analyse relevant data and, where necessary, seek new data sources to identify opportunities for corrective action and growth.
- Innovation & Creativity: Champion product development process and business improvement to ensure quick responses to changes in consumer needs
- Engages and Influences HCPs and KOLs: Identifies new opportunities to build the credibility and relationships with HCPs towards mutual long- & short-term gains.
- End to end consumer, shopper and or HCP Journeys and manages audiences in a holistic manner.
- Collaboration and commercial Rigor: Collaborates with and aligns internal and external stakeholders to ensure plans and projects get the needed support
- Demonstrated agility in managing a brand amidst competitive and complex environments.
- A robust track record in Marketing, with a shining portfolio of successes in both Marketing and Sales functions.
- Excellent communication skills, adept at nurturing relationships and managing stakeholders with ease.

About the Role
- This role is responsible for leading the implementation of the global Reckitt Production System, the Manufacturing Excellence Manager leads the manufacturing excellence program.
- This role is a key member of the lead/management team working under the Head of Manufacturing and collaborates across all levels and functions of the organization to drive capability building, to co-lead with functional managers the implementation and adoption of proven systems and ways of working based on RPS pillars.
Your Responsibilities
- Collaborates across all levels and functions of the organization to drive capability building, to co-lead with functional managers the implementation and adoption of proven systems and ways of working based on RPS pillars
- Ensure consistency and compliance of performance measures and losses definitions with global standards, improve data collection systems efficiency and accuracy in collaboration with IT&D team and digital manufacturing. Optimize reporting visualization and consolidation to improve gap diagnosis.
- Collaboration with Engineering and Innovation to prevent risks, improve performance and optimize work through early management of CapEx projects and new products innovation.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to reduce OEE losses, reduce waste, reduce energy consumption, reduce quality losses, increase productivity, reduce safety risks, etc.
- Productivity Project Governance: Facilitate ideation events, monitor productivity projects. Update global productivity tracker.
- Manage CI budget and monitor financial results.
- Lead strategic initiatives for building own capabilities.
- RPS Standards implementation and adherence across the site
- Capability building for shopfloor and management in matters related to CI.
Requirements
The experience we’re looking for:
- Demonstrable experience in managing large manufacturing operations, with a focus on driving performance and efficiency.
- 4+ years working in operations with a Manufacturing Excellence structured program, progressively expanding the systems and reaching higher levels of adoption, maturity and therefore results.
- Proficient in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma.
- Working knowledge of production logistics, supply management, and contract negotiation.
- Experience with TPM / WCM / IWS strategy implementation
- Expertise as trainer and coach of TPM / WCM / IWS methodologies and systems
- Strong leadership, change management, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience implementing digital working systems e.g. MES, connected worker, Power BI, power
- Experience of designing remediation plans to address productivity and efficiency issues, and track record of following through to ensure closure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of Partners, senior managers, and subject matter experts.
- Analytical, project and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements.
