Job Description
- We are seeking dynamic and results-oriented Investment Officers/Wealth Advisors to join our team.
- You will be instrumental in attracting, managing, and growing the savings and investment portfolios of our members.
- This role requires a strong understanding of financial markets, excellent relationship management skills, and a passion for helping individuals and groups achieve their financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively engage with prospective and existing members to understand their financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment needs.
- Present and advise members on SavingsBox Multipurpose Cooperative’s diverse savings and investment products, ensuring suitability and transparency.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract new savings deposits and investment funds from individuals and organizations.
- Monitor market trends and economic conditions to provide informed advice and optimize investment strategies for pooled funds.
- Ensure accurate documentation and processing of all savings and investment transactions.
- Maintain strong, long-term relationships with members, providing ongoing support and regular updates on their portfolios.
- Collaborate with the Loan Officers and other departments to identify cross-selling opportunities for cooperative products.
- Adhere strictly to all regulatory guidelines and internal policies related to investments and member protection.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CIS, CFA Level I) are a strong advantage.
- 2 – 5 years of experience in wealth management, investment advisory, banking, or a similar client-facing financial role.
- Demonstrated understanding of various savings and investment instruments.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of integrity and commitment to ethical practices.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
