Position Overview

• As the Web Development Trainer/Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and mentoring aspiring Web Developers.
• Your responsibilities will include leading, designing, and delivering our Web Development course curriculum, ensuring our students acquire essential skills and expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and building impactful web projects.
• This role is a part time contract role covering 4-6 hours daily over a 9-10-week period. An immediate start is preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver an engaging and comprehensive curriculum covering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and advanced web development concepts.
• Lead classroom instruction, workshops, and discussions to impart practical insights and best practices in web development.
• Develop and oversee course materials, including presentations, coding exercises, assignments, and projects to foster an interactive learning environment.
• Guide and mentor students through the process of creating a Personal Portfolio as a capstone project, offering constructive feedback and support.
• Provide assistance in testing, debugging, and optimizing code for efficient and responsive web applications.
• Collaborate with the curriculum development team to continually enhance and update course content to align with industry trends and advancements.
• Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress and provide guidance for improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 – 6 years of hands-on training experience in web development, with proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and DOM manipulation.
• Strong command over front-end technologies, responsive design, and modern web development practices.
• Experience in teaching or training individuals in a classroom setting, explaining complex concepts in an easily understandable manner.
• Proficiency in debugging, testing, and optimizing web applications for performance.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and mentoring skills.
