Job Title: Project Engineer

Location: Lagos Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

  • The Site Engineer will oversee all technical and on site operational activities to ensure that projects are executed with structural accuracy quality assurance and alignment to design specifications.
  • The role drives daily supervision coordination and project discipline within a fast growing real estate and construction organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day to day site operations and ensure compliance with structural architectural and engineering standards
  • Supervise tradesmen subcontractors and artisans to maintain quality timelines and safety standards
  • Conduct regular site inspections prepare progress reports and escalate issues requiring technical resolution
  • Verify materials received on site and ensure alignment with project specifications and approved quality benchmarks
  • Coordinate closely with project managers quantity surveyors and procurement teams to ensure uninterrupted workflow
  • Evaluate drawings interpret designs and ensure practical implementation on the field
  • Enforce HSE policies and ensure full compliance with safety guidelines
  • Support the testing commissioning and handover documentation for completed structures

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum of four to seven years hands on construction site experience
  • Strong knowledge of structural methods site supervision and engineering best practices
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and manage multiple contractors
  • Excellent problem-solving communication and coordination skills
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality delivery

Salary
N300,000 – N350,000 Monthly.

Job Summary

  • The Head of Commercial is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the commercial success and market expansion of Springpet Homes.
  • This individual will integrate sales, marketing, and business development functions to create a cohesive strategy that maximizes revenue, profitability, and market share.
  • The role entails developing and executing the commercial roadmap, forging high-value partnerships, and leading a high-performance team to achieve aggressive growth targets.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Revenue Growth:

  • Develop and implement the overall commercial strategy for the company, including sales, marketing, and business development.
  • Define and achieve annual and quarterly revenue, sales, and profitability targets.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities.

Sales & Channel Management:

  • Oversee the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation to closing, ensuring a seamless customer journey.
  • Manage, mentor, and expand the sales team, setting clear KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Develop and manage a high-performing network of realtor partners, creating loyalty programs and incentive structures to maximize channel sales.
  • Marketing & Brand Positioning:
  • Work with the marketing/communications team to develop compelling brand messaging and marketing campaigns that generate high-quality leads.
  • Ensure all marketing collateral and digital presence effectively communicate the company’s value proposition and unique selling points.
  • Oversee pricing strategies for all projects to ensure competitiveness and optimal profit margins.

Business Development & Partnerships:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities, including joint ventures, land banking deals, and strategic partnerships with developers and investors.

  • Management, Real Estate Investment Trusts).

Commercial Operations:

  • Implement a robust CRM system to track sales performance, pipeline health, and customer interactions.

  • Manage the commercial department’s budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum ROI.

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or Master’s is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in a senior commercial role, with at least 5 years in the Nigerian real estate industry.
  • A verifiable portfolio of previous projects and commercial achievements, demonstrating a history of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing strategies that have significantly grown revenue and market share.
  • Extensive experience in sales team leadership, channel management, and complex contract negotiation.

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Lagos Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of accounting information and the timely production of financial reports.
  • This position is responsible for managing complex accounting tasks, leading the month-end close process, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of progressive accounting experience, a strong understanding of GAAP, and a proven ability to improve processes.

Key Responsibilities
Month-End and Financial Reporting:

  • Lead the preparation and execution of the month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses for key balance sheet and income statement accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

General Ledger & Technical Accounting:

  • Maintain and oversee the general ledger system.
  • Research and apply technical accounting standards to complex transactions as needed.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

Accounts Payable & Receivable Oversight:

  • Supervise and review the work of the AP/AR team or processes.

Fixed Assets & Inventory:

  • Manage the fixed asset ledger, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
  • Assist with periodic inventory counts and reconciliation.

Process Improvement & Internal Controls:

  • Identify, develop, and implement process improvements to streamline accounting procedures and enhance internal controls.
  • Document accounting policies and procedures.

Audit & Compliance:

  • Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors, preparing requested schedules and supporting the audit process.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements.

Mentorship:

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • 4-7 years of relevant accounting experience; public accounting experience is a plus.
  • CPA certification or active progress towards the license is highly preferred.
  • Strong, in-depth knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, Sumifs).
  • Experience with a major ERP system (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks Online) is strongly preferred.
