Job Summary
- As the Head of finance, you will oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and regulatory compliance, while also managing inventory levels to guarantee the availability of materials necessary for seamless business operations.
- The ideal candidate must be highly proactive, and able to analyze current inventory and financial data, anticipate potential challenges, and develop contingency plans.
Responsibilities
- Work in conjunction with all department heads to ensure maximum profitability and strategize ways to minimize waste and control costs.
- Overseeing the preparation and analysis of accurate and timely financial reports (e.g., income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements).
- Setting credit rating criteria, determining credit ceilings, monitoring receivables, aging, and following up with payment.
- Scheduled and consistent monitoring and tracking of inventory and stock levels at all times.
- Generate RFQ based on stock holding levels in the warehouse.
- Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CFA) is preferred.
- 7–10 years of financial management experience.
- Working knowledge of inventory management software (ERP)
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
