Job Purpose
- To ensure the safe, timely, and compliant transportation of pharmaceutical products from the warehouse to customers, branches, and other designated locations, maintaining product integrity in line with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Operations:
- Load, transport, and deliver pharmaceutical products to customers, hospitals, pharmacies, and branch offices.
- Verify goods against delivery documents (invoices, waybills) before departure.
- Ensure proper arrangement of goods in the van to prevent damage during transit.
- Obtain signatures or proof of delivery from recipients and return documents to the office promptly.
Compliance & Product Integrity:
- Adhere to NAFDAC, GDP, and company procedures for safe handling of medicines during transit.
- Maintain appropriate temperature control in the vehicle (if applicable for cold chain products).
- Prevent exposure of products to direct sunlight, moisture, or any damaging conditions.
Vehicle Care & Maintenance:
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections (fuel, oil, tires, brakes, lights).
- Keep the van clean, organized, and roadworthy at all times.
- Report any mechanical faults or damages immediately to the Logistics Supervisor.
- Schedule regular servicing and preventive maintenance with the fleet department.
Safety & Security:
- Follow all traffic laws and company driving policies.
- Secure products during transit to prevent loss, theft, or tampering.
- Avoid unauthorized passengers or stops during delivery routes.
Record Keeping & Reporting:
- Maintain delivery logs including mileage, routes, and time records.
- Complete trip sheets, fuel usage reports, and vehicle inspection checklists daily.
- Report delivery delays, accidents, or incidents immediately to management.
Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- On-time delivery rate: ≥ 98%
- Zero incidents of product damage, loss, or theft.
- Compliance with traffic and safety regulations: 100%

Key Responsibilities
Procurement Planning & Sourcing:
- Develop and execute procurement plans for finished pharmaceuticals, raw materials, excipients, packaging materials, and medical supplies.
- Identify and prequalify reliable suppliers, both local and international, in line with company standards.
- Maintain an updated supplier database, including performance history, certifications, and compliance records.
Supplier Negotiation & Contracting:
