Job Title: Customer Relations Executive
Location: Idu, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
About the Role
- We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Relations Executive to drive revenue opportunities through bid identification and submission, manage order fulfillment communication, and serve as the primary point of contact for customer engagement and issue resolution.
- This role is central to our revenue generation pipeline — from opportunity sourcing through to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Bid Management:
- Actively search and identify relevant bid/tender opportunities across designated platforms, portals, and industry channels
- Prepare, compile, and submit accurate and compliant bid documents within specified deadlines
- Track bid submission status and follow up on outcomes
Order Follow-Up:
- Monitor and follow up on confirmed orders to ensure timely processing and delivery
- Liaise with internal departments (logistics, production, finance) to resolve order-related issues
- Keep customers informed on order status and delivery timelines
Customer Engagement:
- Make regular outbound calls to existing and prospective customers to maintain relationships and identify new opportunities
- Build and sustain strong, long-term customer relationships that support repeat business
Complaints Handling:
- Receive, log, and investigate customer complaints promptly and professionally
- Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve issues and ensure timely closure
- Escalate unresolved or high-priority complaints appropriately
- Maintain accurate records of complaints and resolutions for reporting purposes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 0-2+ years of experience in customer service, sales support, or bid/tender administration
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with CRM systems is an advantage
