Job Title: Contracts Administrator I

Location: Seplat House, Nigeria

Description

  • Responsible for stewarding and administering vendor contracts and/or orders to ensure uninterrupted goods/service delivery to buyers and compliance with controls.
  • Responsible for researching and analyzing existing contracts and making recommendations on various issues.
  • Monitors and manages contract expiration dates. Works with moderate work direction and is skilled and knowledgeable to the position.
  • Create and amend Service Requests for Production Operations contract services providers that exist on Company’s SAP system.
  • Create Service Entries for Production Operations contract agreements existing on Company’s SAP system.
  • Liaise with Contractor Representatives on a daily basis to address issues that may arise from the placement and amendment of purchase orders and the payment of invoices for work executed against those purchase orders.
  • Provide contract status reports to management for review.
  • Ensure effective contract administration through records management, advice and compliance with procurement, controls, oi and business requirements.
  • Provide support to Accounts Payable as required.
  • Coordinate with field personnel and confirm that Contractor performance evaluations (on-going or end-of service) results are captured for future contract consideration.
  • Work with Contract Advisor and Representatives to identify performance and efficiency improvement opportunities in contracts.
  • Work closely with Procurement on contract renewal, contract award, contract resolutions and contract follow-up action items.

Job Requirements

  • Microsoft Excel and other analysis tools
  • Experience within a large corporation or complex organizational setting.
  • Experience working with developing businesses, and also Landowner Companies (LANCO’s).
  • Experience in engaging with contractors, in a developing country environment.
  • Experience of using SAP (or other) computerized maintenance management tools.
  • Business and ethics compliance.
  • Understanding of company expectations relating to controls, reporting and compliance
  • Understanding and knowledge of the local country’s commercial environment, and the role of government and regulatory authorities.
  • Ability to integrate security and community objectives into plans for Service Contracting.
  • Budgetary reporting and analysis skills
  • Solid written communication and reporting skills
  • Maintenance and Reliability (M&R) processes
  • Understanding of Procurement roles, responsibilities and business processes as they relate to contracts

Job Title: Quality Control Engineer – Electrical CT / CLU

Location: Nigeria

Job Purpose & Accountabilities

  • To coordinate Company Mechanical Static and Piping Quality Control activities in Bonny Island for the CT, CLU and other Work scope of the Project in accordance with Contract approved project management procedures; ensuring quality, schedule and budget standards are met in a controlled, transparent and auditable manner in collaboration with the EPC Contractor to ensure that piping and mechanical static construction activities meet the requirements stated in Project Specifications.

The responsibilities of the role will include, but not be limited to:

  • Review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and related Quality Control Plans for the piping and mechanical static scope.
  • Ensure that only the latest design documents (AFC) are used at the work site
  • Witness and monitor Contractor’s work activities, inspection, and test in accordance with the approved Quality Plan, ITP, Quality Procedures etc.
  • Review material test certificates and materials receiving inspection reports of piping materials for compliance to requirements
  • Review preservation reports for piping material and pressure equipment.
  • Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection and Test Plan.
  • Review and sign Contractor Inspection and Test Reports on behalf of Company
  • Monitor Contractor piping erection and installation activities.
  • Monitor Contractor pressure equipment installation activities
  • Witness piping and equipment pressure tests
  • Verify adequacy of procedures and work instructions for special processes and the certification of personnel for key activities.
  • Prepare and issue weekly summary reports based of the site quality surveillance activities
  • Escalate any observed non-conformances to Senior Quality Surveillance Engineer for review and action.
  • Review the resolution of field NCR action items
  • Monitor Contractor Completions Management process and verify reports, to support the Faultless Project Delivery
  • Program
  • Support punch listing activities
  • Verify the correct update of as-built documentation.

  • Zero HSE construction related issues
  • Planned vs Actual Quality Performance
  • Timeliness and quality of Quality Reports
  • Flawless handover of completed scopes.

Job Requirements

  • B.Sc Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical / Materials Engineering.
  • 4-5 years’ experience in the inspection of piping and mechanical static construction activities, preferably
  • in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Good knowledge of best engineering practices, Shell DEPs and International codes & standards (ASME, API).
  • Proficiency in the use of basic MS Office computer applications.
